Part 64: where it goes wrong

Adriana:

Shawn and I got deep in to some drinks, but not enough to totally get drunk.
I took his hand in mine, leading him to the dance floor to go dancing. He doesn't move a lot, but as long as I can dance around him, making him move a bit then it's more than enough.

"You're still such a turn on when it comes to dancing." He mumbled in my ear as I danced closely to him, my back up against his stomach with his one hand on my hip, the other one holding on to his red solo cup. I danced even closer to him, the smile on my face only growing more.
He swiftly turned me around, gripping tightly on to my waist. "I love you so much." I laughed, pressing my lips to him.

One kiss, turning deeply in to a make out and I could taste the alcohol on his lips and tongue. "You taste like cherry vodka." He chuckled, only pulling away for a second before reconnecting our lips again.
My fingers tangled up in his hair at the nape of his neck and I just threw my cup down on he floor, needing to feel him entirely.

"Do you want to move out of here?" He asked hesitantly, but I thought way ahead of him.
"Common." He pulled me with him out of the crowd and just as we were about to walk up the stairs to a room, Brian greeted us in over excitement.
Clearly whatever he had in his cup got to him really quickly.

"Hey dude, are you enjoying the party?" But before he could answer Shawn's question, Cody and the gang showed up.
I saw Shawn rolling his eyes before looking down at me, back up to him.

"Oh... What's all this?" He laughed, looking at Shawn holding on to my hand. "The bet is over Shawn. Why are you still with her? Don't tell me she grew on you!" Cody laughed along with his group of rats.

What?

💞Shawn:

No!
Shit!
This is not how I want it to happen.

She slowly pulled out of my embrace, looking at me with confusion and hurt.
"What?"
"No Adriana it's not what you think, I can explain this all to you. Just-."
"What bet Shawn?" She raised her voice looking at me with her broken eyes.
"Oh.. she didn't know?" Cody laughed and I glared over to him.

"Adriana plea-"
"For gods sake Shawn!" She ran her hands through her hair as more tears rolled down her cheeks. She started putting the pieces together, and it breaks me now.

The way she looked at me now, its taunting.

I wanted to tell her later on today, I didn't want it to go this way.
No!

"I can't." She threw her hands in the air and walked out towards the door, rushing and pushing through the group of people to get outside. "Adriana!" I yelled, "Leave her alone Shawn. She's a nobod-" before he could finish his sentence I balled my fist, swinging a punch and hitting him right on the jaw.
"You stay the fuck away from her. And you stay away from me!" I ran off, pushing everyone out of my way to get outside.

I saw her walking down the sidewalk, but then she stopped walking. Running her hand through her hair as the other clamped over her mouth.
She collapsed to the ground, sitting and crying hard.

This is all my fault.
