"Are you guys ready?", you asked as soon as you got into the lair.
You were the reason why everyone was up bright and early. You once joked how funny a road trip with the boys would be. Maybe you shouldn't have said that cause everyone - apart from Raph - immediately starting planning.
"Just a few more things", Donnie yelled from his lab.
Mikey and Raph came over to greet you, both having huge bags in their hands.
"Excited?", you grinned.
"Hmpf", Raph gave back.
He hasn't been into it from the start. Spending so much time with his brothers, in a van, for so many days? Nope he didn't like it but still played along, kind of.
"Of course. Oh it's going to be so much fun", Mikey said and grinned.
"Hey (Y/N)", Leo said behind you.
You turned around to greet him as well. There he was, a large bag in one hand, a piece of paper in the other one.
"What's this?", you wanted to know.
"Our plan", he gave back and smiled.
"Plan?", you wondered.
"He's been planning everything for days! I think he even has pee breaks planned", Raph growled.
"Pee breaks? Are you serious?", you laughed.
"Listen, what if you need to pee in the middle of nowhere? With no bathroom in sight?", Leo asked.
"Just pee in the wild?", you gave back.
Mikey and Raph both snorted but Leo gave you a stern look.
"Okay okay. But what if you don't have to pee at that certain time?", you asked.
"Then you wait until the next one. Easy."
This was the moment where you realized how badly you screwed up. Why exactly are you doing this?
"Right, we can leave", Donnie said, finally coming out of the lab.
He, unlike his brothers, had two bags.
"What is in there? Games?", Mikey asked his brother.
"Not really. But I figured we might find some extraordinary things so I took my microscope", he gave back.
You blinked. How would Donnie's experiments work out with Leo's plan? Oh please don't be a mess. Everyone was getting ready to leave when Mikey called you back.
"Oh I forgot. I got something for all of you", he said and grinned.
Looking through his bag he found was he was looking for: t-shirts.
"I made them for us", he smiled proudly.
It was a white shirt with everyone's name on the front left. Just above the heart. The back had black letters saying "ROADTRIP WOOHOOO".
"That's ... so sweet Mikey. Thank you", you said and smiled.
"Put them on", he demanded.
"Absolutely not", Raph gave back.
"Please?", Mikey said and gave him puppy eyes.
"Oh for the love of ... OKAY"
You giggled. You've never seen turtles wearing a shirt but no one wanted to make Mikey sad so they did as told.
"Can we finally leave, now?", you asked.
You specifically rented a van so everyone could fit in.
"SHOTGUN", Mikey screamed.
"No, I sit in the front", Leo gave back.
"Why?"
"Because I'm the oldest. And the one with the plan"
"But that's not fair"
"Deal with it Mikey"
Poor Mikey. But he was used to it. Leo sat down next to you while the three others shared the back. Raph was in the last row and Mikey & Donnie shared the second one.
"Are you ready?", you asked.
"Yaaaaaay", Mikey screamed, throwing his hands in the air.
"Do we have enough fuel?", Leo asked.
"I'm not stupid. Of course", you said.
"Enough oil?"
"Yes"
"Warn vests?"
"JESUS CHRIST LEO, SHUT UP", you hissed.
"When you two are done", Donnie said, "I've got some snacks."
"Awesome bro", Mikey said, already digging through Donnie's back.
"What ya have there?", Raph asked curiously.
"Hey, no snack break yet", Leo said.
"We haven't even started the car and I'm already done", you told yourself.
However, you loved all of them too much to be angry at them. You were going to make the best out of it, no matter what it takes.
