((A/N) Trigger warning, because ... you know)
Raph would be the type of boyfriend who would help you through anything. And I mean ANYTHING. He'd cheer you up, cuddle with you, make you food (although that might not always work out the way he wants to).
Right when he first met you he noticed how thin you were. Of course everyone looked thin compared to him but you were extra thin. He's been afraid to hurt you because you are so delicate. He never thought anything about it though, played it off to the genetics.
It wasn't until he saw pictures of you when you were young that he realized this wasn't genetics at all. You looked heavier, healthier and quite frankly: happier. This was something new for him. He thought you might be sick and that could cause the weight loss (thanks Donnie for explaining) but he needed to talk to you.
He wanted to know what happened. He knew it was a sensitive topic but you've been dating him for a while and should tell him everything. No secrets should be between you two. Raph sat down next to you on the bed, reaching for your hands. You knew something was up, he never did that. It was either hugging, kissing or simple talking.
"I need to know what's going on", he started.
"What do you mean?", you wanted to know absolutely not knowing what he wanted from you.
"I've seen your pictures. You don't look like that at all anymore", he said.
"Yeah. Those pics are old", you shrugged, "of course I don't look like that anymore."
"I don't mean the growing up part or the fact that you hair is now shorter but ... you know ... the weight loss."
"People lose weight every single day", you gave back.
"But not like that. Are you sick? I talked to Donnie and he said certain forms of cancer could make you -", he started but you cut him off.
"I don't have cancer Jesus Christ"
He sighed. Thank God he wasn't going to you loose you to such a horrible illness.
"What is it then?"
You went silent. You didn't dare to look at him. And he didn't dare to say anything either. He wanted to give you as much time as you needed.
"I ... I ... I have anoxeria", you admitted.
"What ... what is that?"
Donnie should have told him about everything, every illness that could cause someone to lose weight.
"It's an eating disorder. A fear of gaining weight. That's why I never eat with you guys, I rarely eat at all", you said.
"But why? You don't need that. You're beautiful no matter how much you eat"
You smiled.
"Thank you. But I don't see myself as beautiful, or thin or whatever"
"I will make sure you realized that (Y/N). You're the most beautiful woman I've ever met. You're smart, funny, incredibly talented. I love you the way you are, don't even think you need to lose weight because I like you thin. I want you to be okay, to overcome this. I know it will be hard but you just can't give up. I will do anything to make you feel better and help you. But you need to let me, okay?", he said.
You were so overwhelmed with everything. Unable to speak you just nodded.
"Okay", Raph sighed, "tell me how this started. I want to know everything. Please donate be scared I won't laugh or get mad, I promise!"
