TMNT x Reader | Reacting to your Rottweiler

You always wanted to have a dog. But living in a huge apartment complex, in the middle of New York was a bit of a struggle. So when dogs were finally allowed you went to the animal shelter and got yourself a Rottweiler. Yes, they look huge and dangerous but to you knew that it only came down to how you teach him.

Now it was time for your boyfriend and dog to meet. You were excited and yet nervous about that.

Leo: "So, where is he?", Leo asked after you two greeted each other. "Living room", you said and he made his way to it. You heard a little whimper when Leo entered and weren't sure what to think of it. There they were, your boyfriend of the floor, the dog on top of him, licking his face. "Wow, that was not what I expected", Leo laughed. "He's a sweetheart", you replied. "Are you sure? He doesn't look like it", he gave back. "Leo, babe, he's laying on top of you, covering you in kisses", you said. "Kinda like you then", he laughed out loud. "Are you telling me I'm a Rottweiler?", you asked raising an eyebrow. "Sometimes", he admitted and you gently hit him. "I think I'll stay over the first few days. Just in case", he said. "Why?", you wanted to know. "It's a big dog, just to be sure he doesn't do anything stupid", Leo said. There he was again, your bodyguard. "If it makes you happy", you replied.

Raph: "This is a monster", Raph said as he saw the dog. "I wanted to get a dog that looks like my boyfriend", you joked. "I'm cuter", Raph gave back. He made his way to the dog who was already wagging his tail. Yes, Raph was big and intimidating but the dog didn't care. He wanted belly rubs, now. He ran over to Raph and whined a little to get his attention. "Well aren't ya adorable", Raph said. "I knew you'd like him", you grinned. He gave you a stern look. "Didn't say I like him, just said he was adorable. If he bites me, I'll bring him back tot the shelter", he replied. As soon as Raph started petting him, he turned over so Raph could reach his belly. "Okay I'm in love", Raph admitted and laughed, "he's the perfect dog for you. He can protect ya when I'm not here." 

Donnie: This dude. As soon as he'd walk in he'd tell you how dangerous this dog is. "But have you seen how many people got bit or killed?", he squeaked. "Donnie would you calm down?", you said. "I will not calm down until that dog is gone", he answered. "Well deal with it cause he stays", you said and somehow your dog knew you were talking about him. He started waggling his tail. "Who's a good boy?", you asked him and went over to pet him. "Be careful", Donnie chimed in. "Touch him", you ordered Donnie. "Absolutely not", was the answer. You sat next to your dog and mimed the same facial expression. "Pleeeeeease?", you begged. "Okay", Donnie sighed, "if he gets too close to me I'll freak out." He came a bit closer to you two and slowly reached his hand out to pet your dog. Nothing happened, in fact your dog loved it. "See, he's cute", you said and laughed.

Mikey: Mikey loved animals. When you told him you finally got a dog he was excited. He didn't even care what breed it was as long as he had someone new to cuddle with. I mean he loved cuddling with you but a dog was something completely different. "Where is the cutie?", he said once you opened the door. He had a bunch of treats in one hand and a few squeaky toys in the other. "Couch", you said. Mikey rushed over to take a look. You dog got up at looked at him with pure curiosity. "Aaaaaawh how cute", Mikey said and immediately started to pet him. Your dog enjoyed it, came closer to Mikey and licked his whole face off. "I think he loves me", Mikey squeaked. "My boys", you smiled and kissed both of them on the head.
