I know this is a very sensitive subject so if you're not okay with it, please don't read it. I've tried to bring this across as best as possible. Please bear with me. (written for the 2014/16 version)
Imagine walking home from a bad day at school. Not only because it was long but also because the kids made fun of you again. Calling you names was the nicest thing they did all day. It's not your fault that your skin color is different than theirs but that doesn't stop them from hating you. No matter how much you've tried to live a normal life and ignore everything they do, they always get to you.
You never cried in school, you thought crying was a sign of weakness. You tried to stay above everything. But today was your breaking point. As soon as you got out of school and were away from most of the bullies, the tears started to come. You were sad, disappointed, mad at everyone. They just didn't understand you.
You decided to pay the turtles a visit, mostly your boyfriend. You couldn't talk to your parents about it, they'd just tell you to stand above everything. They might talk to a teacher but what would they do? They'd talk to the students and it would be even worse afterwards. Thinking you can't fight for yourself, needing to call your parents.
As soon as you entered the lair you realized that all of them were probably either meditating or training. That's what they do most of the time.
"Hello?", you asked.
When no one answered you just sat on the couch and tried to get your mind off of everything. You took out a little mirror from your backpack and tried to clean your face.
"Aaah I knew I heard your lovely voice", someone behind said.
You turned around and saw your boyfriend smiling at you. He was sweating and trying to wipe it off with a towel. As soon as he saw your face he started to frown.
"What's wrong angel?"
Your boyfriend sat next to your and hugged you tightly.
"Nothing", you whispered.
"Don't do this. You're bad at lying and you know it", he answered.
You started to sob again. Your turtle held you close, rubbing one hand over your back while the other one was playing with your hair.
"Shhhh everything is fine angel", he whispered, "I got you. I will never let you go."
Your face was already red and puffy, your eyes hurt from crying but you just couldn't stop. Every emotion came back up. The pain, the fact that you didn't understand why they hate you so much.
"Tell me what's wrong baby", he said.
You told him. Everything. From the moment it started to where it got now. You felt anger building up inside of you just to be vanished by pain. He was just sitting there, holding you closer than ever. Listening to you. You were his moon and sun and he'd do anything to make you feel better.
Your boyfriend couldn't stand to see you sad, yet alone hurt. He didn't understand how anyone could hate you because of your skin color. He loved every single inch of your body and he didn't care what you looked like. Your personality was everything for him. Although he still found you beautiful but that wasn't the main point when it came to his attraction. He loved you for YOU and not for your skin color or ethnicity.
"You want me to beat them up?", he asked, being totally serious.
That made you chuckle a bit. Imagining a huge turtle fighting the bullies and them running away crying was a funny thought. You actually really wanted to see it, but knew if would be wrong.
"Seriously I would", he assured you.
"It's fine babe", you replied, finally looking at him.
His gorgeous eyes were staring at you and it immediately made you feel save.
"I don't have that much school left anyway", you explained.
He gently rubbed your cheek with his thumb, carefully to not hurt you. He wiped away a few tears and then started smiling.
"Maybe I should teach you some self defense", he said.
"Okay", you nodded.
He pulled you in to a long and passionate kiss.
"I'll make sure you're okay. I love you so much (Y/N). I will not let anyone hurt you and if they do I'll make them pay for it.
