"JoJo...S-So you're JoJo?" Asked Stroheim. The other soldiers looked at the Major, wondering what the deal was with the hair thing. "Listen up, JoJo. That Pillar Man, Santana, uses the mask to turn people into vampires. Seems he makes them stronger so he can feed on them. He's a grave threat! He must be destroyed!"

You and Joseph stared at Santana who seemed to be carefully watching both of you.

Joseph began to reach out his hand towards the Pillar Man, causing the frightened Speedwagon to shout, "Careful, JoJo!"

Joseph continued to reach closer, booping Santana's nose before jumping back. "Tag!" A goofy grin adorned his face as he laughed.

You face palmed, "Did you just...Did you just boop his snoot?"

"Well, he was talking a minute ago, right?" He faced the Pillar Man, "Hello! How's it going? Happy! Fun! Nice to meet you, man!" The others in the room looked at Joseph like he was crazy, but you realized Joseph was trying to sort of befriend Santana.

You figured it was worth a shot, but you didn't want to annoy the Pillar man. Joseph wrapped and arm around your shoulder and tried to get you to move along with him. He hopped left to right, waving his unoccupied arm like a weird dance number. "Happy! Fun! Nice to meet you, man!" You hoped Santana didn't feel as though the two of you were belittling him. "Okay, Mr. Santana, together now! Three, four! Happy! Fun! Nice to meet you man!" Santana's face remained stoic, he hadn't even tried to join in.

Stroheim had enough, "JoJo, (Y/N), this is no time to be fooling around!"

Speedwagon was also concerned, "What in God's name are you doing?"

"Well, I thought he might be a nice guy." Responded Joseph. "I'm just testing him a bit."

You joined the conversation, "You were trying keep him captive and use him for your own gains. Plus, if someone woke me up from my slumber, I'd be cranky too. You kind of deserved this."

Joseph glanced at the Pillar Man's muscles. He was a bit jealous of their definition and he thought he saw you stealing a glance or two at them. To pull your attention away, he moved between Santana and himself so that you were facing himself and the other humans in the room. "Yeah, It's not right to just assume he's a bad person before you get to know him."

Stroheim wasn't happy and the soldiers who were still alive shook in fear of the fact their lives were pretty much in the hands a moron. Stroheim spoke his mind, "Don't be idiots! Look around! He murdered most of my soldiers!"

Joseph loosened his hold on you, moving towards the Major. "Shut up! It's like what (Y/N) said, you reap what you sow! You even shot at him with machine guns, bonehead!" He angles his head so he could see Robert. "Besides, Speedwagon, I'm only here to take you back to New York." he brought you close to his chest once again, "I didn't even know (Y/N) was here, but I guess I'll bring her back too. How'd you even get here anyways?" You were about to answer but he interrupted you, "Eh, no matter, but I have no reason to kill him."

Joseph continued the little chant, "Now everyone! Happy! Fun! Nice to meet you, man!"

Santana seemed to have had enough of your antics and walked right past you and Joseph without saying a single word. After all the chanting, this sort of response kind of bummed you out.

Joseph let go of you and folded his arms in front of his chest, "What's his problem? It's like he's completely ignoring us? Now I'm annoyed." He then began whispering into your ear, "Hey, watch this!" He gave you a wink before spinning around and attempting to trip Santana.

Upon making contact, sparks of Hamon shot out. The leg of his pants were torn and he fell onto his bum with a light thud. Santana continued walking past everyone as if nothing happened. You looked to Joseph with disbelief, whisper shouting at him, "Why did you do that! You could've angered him enough to kill you!"
