Star Platinum's punch headed straight for Dio's head.

"Stop time! The World!"

In the next moment, Joatro's Stand's fist bashed through Dio's skull as the Kujo stood up. He tightly held his injured arm, "I went through hell there... But even if you stop time, I'm still going to blow your head off, Dio." The vampire's body was slammed into a nearby staircase. "Finally... Finally, I was able to bash his head in. But that bastard Dio is a monster who survived a hundred years at the bottom of the ocean. I can't believe he's dead yet."

You jogged over to Jotaro, "You're right. It's probably much too soon for us to relax." You gave him an apologetic look, "And... sorry about shooting you. I was really just trying to get him to not kill Polnareff." You briefly looked over his various wounds, covering what you could.

He shrugged, "It just shows that you knew I was strong enough to handle it." He noticed a bucket and then glanced over to an abandoned car. You were able to figure out what he wanted to do, so you went to retrieve the pail as he shuffled over to the car.

"I'll kill you..." Promised Dio as he placed a hand over the head wound that was gushing blood everywhere. He attempted to stand up only to collapse onto the ground, "W-What is this? Impossible! M-My legs... I can't move my legs! I can't stand!" Star Platinum punched a hole in the car and let all the fuel pour into the bucket. Dio clasped his head with his hands, "I have a headache... a-and nausea... How could this happen? Me, Dio, feeling sick? My head's been destroyed so I can't get up?!"

You crouched down in front of him, although still out of his reach, "Your head is the only part of the body that's actually yours. It makes sense that everything else would go finicky once that was destroyed. It seems you aren't as immortal as you'd like to think." His eyes widened and he seemed almost terrified.

Jotaro dumped the bucket of fuel onto the vampire, "I covered you with gasoline so I can track your smell. I feel bad kicking a guy when he's down. Nah. I don't feel bad about this at all." He tossed the now empty pail behind him, "My friends and a lot of innocent bystanders are dead because of you. And (Y/N)'s had to deal with the aftermath of your shit for a century." Jotaro ignited his lighter.

Dio started laughing maniacally and he managed to push his torso off the ground to raise his arms above him, "The World!" The vampire was then holding on to the bumper of a car that sped on past.

You and Jotaro ran out to the road as Dio's ride turned a corner. The Kujo cursed under his breath, "Damn it. He must have been listening for nearby cars. But..." He pulled out the knife lodged in his shoulder. "I can't let him get away!" Star Platinum came out to aid in his user's throwing of the blade which ended up making the vampire loose his grip and tumble down the road.

Taking a look around, Jotaro had suddenly vanished from sight. The only other noticeable difference being the open manhole near your feet. You raised an eyebrow, wondering if the Kujo had really gone down there. The question was quickly answered when you saw him pop out of the manhole Dio had moved to try and hide in.

"Give up, Dio." Ordered Jotaro as he jumped out of the sewers and onto the street.

The vampire's hands were shaking as he propped himself up to keep at least his torso off the ground. He quickly grabbed the knife that Jotaro had thrown, getting ready to chuck it at the high schooler. "The World. Sto-" He was cut off by another brutal punch to the face. Then another and another, before Dio practically flew down the street. Despite his rather disfigured state, he spoke haughtily, "You fell for it, Jotaro! This is my escape route! You have lost in the battle of wits against me, Dio! Doesn't this street look familiar?" His body then thudded against the ground.

You weren't sure if the Joestar was conscious or not, but shouted at him anyways, "Joseph, quick! Use your Hamon or something!"

Jotaro let out a shocked grunt as he listened to your words, "What?! Don't tell me..."

"That's right." Answered Dio, his voice no longer pained from his injuries, "It was my escape route to take the blood of Joseph Joestar!" His fingers had dug deep into the old man's neck, and his victim let out a rather pathetic gasp while trying and failing to pull the hand out. The feeding of the blood had changed Dio. Not only had his jacket vanished but he had suddenly gotten green lipstick as well.

"Dio, you bastard!" Shouted Jotaro.

Dio stroked his chin as he grinned like a mad man, "As I thought... Joseph's blood suits me well. It suits this body so perfectly, my strength is recovering faster than ever before! It truly suits me!" He started laughing as he scratched himself, ripping open the skin of his head and chest repeatedly. "This body belonged to Jonathan Joestar." Strands of blood stuck to his hand as he moved it away from his head, "The blood I just drank is from his grandson, Joseph!"

He took a step towards you and Jotaro, "And the ones who allowed me to make it this far were the two of you. The Joestar bloodline was mere dog shit on the road that is my destiny, just something lying in my way... But in the end, it appears that the Joestars are fated to be my tools." He started cackling once more.

You managed to get out of work shocked state enough to move towards the body of the Joestar, "J-Joseph..."

Dio raised an eyebrow at you, "Don't tell me your actually sad? He was going to die soon anyways. Shouldn't you have been mentally preparing yourself for a time like this?" He tapped his chin in thought, "Oh, I know. You're probably just upset because all the effort you went through to preserve his life was rendered meaningless." Once more, his cackling ensued.

You slowed to a stop as yellow smoke seemed to raise up from Joseph's body before actually taking on his shape. Jotaro saw it too, "O-Old man."

"No matter..." Mumbled Joseph's spirit. "No matter what Dio is about to do to my body down below, you must never get enraged and lose your cool. Don't worry about me anymore. This happened because it had to happen."

"Is this... the old man's soul?" Asked Jotaro and you just shrugged, not entirely sure yourself.

"If we had all attacked Dio at once, we would've been slaughtered instantly. Jotaro, you've become able to move a bit within stopped time. You have two or three seconds now... use that time wisely. And remember, no matter what Dio does now, you mustn't get angry. If you fly into a rage and strike first, you'll only put yourself in a bad situation." He tipped down his spirit hat, "This trip was truly fun, wasn't it? So much happened. I swear... These fifty days really were fun." He started to fade away but he looked back one last time at you, "And don't worry (Y/N), I'll tell Caesar that you said hello."

The street lights seemed to brighten so much to the point you and Jotaro had to shield your eyes. And once the light faded away, the spirit of Joseph was gone, too.

"Was I seeing things?" Asked Jotaro, "How did he even know Caesar was dead?"

"It is a bit odd." You remarked. "And it's also kind of strange that he knew how long you could stop time for. Do you think we both just had the same hallucination? A similar happened with Avdol earlier, but he didn't say anything then..."

"Where are the two of you looking?" Questioned Dio. Which to you meant that he probably didn't hear the entirety of Joseph's conversation. Dio then shoved his hand into Joseph's chest, draining the blood until the Joestar's skin began to sink in and shrivel up.

"B-Bastard..." Growled Jotaro.

Dio smirked at his blood soaked hand, "Now he's just an empty shell!"

Jotaro spared you a glance, silently asking if you'd mind him going against the warnings of his grandpa's spirit. You didn't restrain him. Of course you wouldn't. You wanted to see Dio's face writhing in agony just as much as he did, if not more. And if you weren't capable of enacting that yourself, Jotaro doing it was the next best option.

The Kujo stomped towards the vampire. Dio's expression hardened, "This is the final round!" He leaped towards Jotaro and the fists of their Stands collided before pushing off the ground, "The World! Stop time!"

Both of the Stand users had suddenly disappeared from your view. You were growing really tired of all this time stopping bullshit.
