The swirling wind created from Wamuu rotating his arms flung Joseph into his beaten up chariot with a loud thud. The zombie horses continued moving it around the arena despite the rider not directing them to. The crowd of vampires cheered loudly as it seemed Wamuu was winning the current battle.
Lisa took a step back in fright. Kars sat down criss cross apple sauce. While doing so he pulled on the back of your scarf causing you to fall backwards into the Pillar Man's lap. You tried to stand back up again, but you already knew struggling while in their grip was pretty much useless.
Kars snapped his fingers and a vampire walked to his side holding an empty wine glass. The Pillar Man took it and held it up so that his drink could be poured into it. "Though the battle lasted only half a lap," The vampire poured red wine in the glass, "it had its highs and lows, yes?" The feeling of his breath against your ear while he spoke was rather uncomfortable. "But in the end, Wamuu was stronger and smarter." He held the glass up to your lips while moving one of your hands to meet it so you could hold it on your own, "Have a sip, to celebrate our future time together."
You slowly took the glass and watched the wine swirl around as Kars was brought a glass of his own. Why did he even have wine? He began speaking again, this time to Lisa, "Next up is our duel, is it not? To be frank, I do not enjoy fighting women. Wamuu dislikes it even more. But we must put an end to the Hamon users." He moved his hand around and pulled out a small metal cylinder, he didn't seem to have any pockets on him so you wondered where could've possibly taken it out from.
He tossed it towards Lisa and it hit the floor with a clink before colliding with her foot, "A suicide potion... so that you can die without pain."
Lisa smiled, "You seem to be mistaken. The battle between JoJo and Wamuu isn't over yet!"
Kars let out a shocked grunt as a vampire pointed at the arena, "L-Lord Kars, look over there!"
Kars' was so shocked he dropped his glass. Your hand quickly shot out to catch it, not wanting broken glass to shatter everywhere. Kars stood up suddenly, this caused you stumble forward a bit and almost fall over the edge into the arena. The vampire from before gently pulled you back, though, and successfully stopped you from falling.
You automatically mumbled a quick thank you and the vampire carefully took the wine glasses out of your hands.
Kars would have been the one to stop your fall, but he was too shocked from the sight of Wamuu's arms about to fall off. You felt a bit bad for the guy, seeing him look so defeated as his forearms were barely connected to his biceps.
Lisa gave a light chuckle as Kars spoke, "W-Wamuu! What happened to him?!" Joseph began to move from his position on the broken chariot and he seemed to be nervously laughing to himself. "That Divine Sandstorm hit him directly! H-How...?"
"Directly?" Questioned Lisa, "JoJo is clever. He only pretended to be hit directly."
You nodded along, "Yup, playing tricks is what he's best at. He wrapped the reins around Wamuu's arms and sent Hamon through them."
Kars narrowed his eyes at you, "You knew?" You nodded again and he took a step closer to you, he seemed angry with you. "Why didn't you say anything?!"
You raised an eyebrow, genuinely confused, "Why... Why would I tell you something like that?" His expression went blank as he took a step away from you. He seemed to be thinking deeply about something.
"If I... were Wamuu, would you have told me?"
Your eyes widened a bit, "Don't get me wrong, Wamuu is nice...ish. He's never really done anything that would hurt me, and if he were to pass on. I would certainly mourn his death. But he is still my enemy."
