Dan stopped in his tracks, "Hey, (Y/N). My shoulders are kind of sore. Massage them for me." He turned away from you and you hesitantly got to work. "Mmm... yes... just like that." He let out a relaxed sigh. His usually cocky attitude dissipated for a moment and his expression hardened. Did something happen? He shrugged your hands off, "That's good enough for now." His smirk returned and he continued his little stroll.

He took a seat on a bench and patted his lap, "Sit right here for me, (Y/N), while Jotaro shines my shoes." He flung a white rag to the Kujo as you took a seat. Jotaro got down on his knees and lifted the man's foot. Out of nowhere, Dan just started laughing. "Come on!" He kicked Jotaro in the face. "What are you doing? Shine those shoes right, Jotaro!" The arm around you tightened its hold and his hand gently caressed your cheek, "Oh, don't look so worried for him. I want you to pretend like he isn't even here." He moved his attention to Jotaro, "I'm in such a good mood right now! I need you to shine my shoes as bright as I feel right now. I want the sunny sky to reflect off of them. If you want, you can use your uniform to shine them. Actually, why not lick them clean?"

The Kujo pulled out a notebook and began scribbling something down. You did your best to not let your gaze wander to the high schooler. Dan stood up, making you fall onto the dirt ground as he ripped the notepad out of Jotaro's hand, "Hey! You bastard! What are you writing?!"

"I'm writing down everything you owe (Y/N) and I. I'm going to make sure you pay it. I can be forgetful, so I'm writing it all down."

After hearing the Kujo's response, Dan gave him a back handed slap. "Jotaro, you bastard...." He gave a light chuckle, "Well, whatever. It won't matter in the end." You slowly got to your feet, dusting yourself off until Dan's hand wrapped around your wrist and he started pulling you along behind him.

The next stop was some sort of jewelry store. Dan eyed the various shiny trinkets while leaning on the glass case, "Say, Jotaro. Take a look at this gold bracelet. It would look good around (Y/N)'s wrist. Jotaro, see that space in the glass? Use your Stand to sneak through and steal it!" The Kujo didn't move, making Dan angrier.

He kept his voice low and threatening, "I told you to steal it, you dumbass! Hurry it up! Or... I don't mind breaking the glass and taking it myself. Are you okay with them catching me and beating the shit out of me?" He put a hand on his hips and took a few steps away, "Joseph would definitely die from the pain. Hurry up! The salesman's looking the other way!"

You glanced at the employees, where they really not hearing any of this? Dan moved you away from Jotaro who was bringing out Star Platinum and taking the bracelet from the case. Dan pointed an accusatory finger at the Kujo, "This guy's shoplifting! Hey, salesman!"

"Sir, please don't let him get away!" Shouted the salesman as he ran into the back of the store.

"Okay!" Called back Dan. He whispered into your ear, "When they ask, make sure to point at Jotaro." You furrowed your eyebrows. Didn't he want you to pretend that Jotaro didn't exist?

"You bastard..." Grumbled Jotaro as three fairly buff men walked into view.

"What? A thief?"

"Who is it?"  You pointed your thumb at Jotaro.

"The Asian kid?" You nodded slowly.

They started cracking their knuckles, "Back where I come from, they chop a thief's fingers off!"

The high schooler took a step back as Dan spoke, "Hey, Jotaro. You better not use your Stand against civilians." Dan shoved him aside.

One of the guards slammed a bat into Jotaro's back before the others joined in with their fists. They did blow after blow while throwing insults at him. Dan laughed as he reached into another one of the glass cases. He pulled out a ring, probably an engagement ring. He held it next to your hand as if seeing how well it would look around your finger. "I believe this Stone is called taaffeite. I thinks it works well, and it's the most expensive. Lord Dio deserves only the best, after all." He then pocketed the item and walked out of the shop.
