The Mark of a Bloodline

All of you walked a short distance to a place known for its coffee and wine, Bor. You were all seated at a round table big enough to fit your group of six people.

"Oh thank goodness!" Exclaimed Holly, who had wrapped her arms around one of her son's arms. "Jotaro finally came out of his cell."

"You're so annoying, you bitch." Commented Jotaro, quite rudely. Your eyes widened at his comment, shocked that he'd talk to his mother in such a way.

"Okay!" Responded Holly, cheerfully.

Joseph angrily pointed at his grandson, "Hey! How dare you call your own mother a bitch, huh?! And Holly, stop smiling after he just called you that!"

Holly remained smiling, "Okay!"

Jotaro rose his pointer finger as he spoke, "Grandpa, there's one thing... I'm going to ask you about one thing I don't understand. Why did you know about my evil spirit- no, my stand or whatever? That's what I don't understand."

Joseph let out a low hum as he thought, "Very well. I came all the way from New York to explain that. But in order to explain it, I must start from the beginning. This has to do with the Joestar family." He reached into his coat and pulled out some photographs. "First, take a look at these pictures." They showed the boat and coffin Dio had come from.

"What are they?" Questioned Jotaro as he picked them up and flipped through them.

"That's a one hundred year old coffin pulled up from the Atlantic Ocean, off the African Coast four years ago." Explained Joseph.

"Coffin?" Jotaro placed the photos back onto the table.

You joined in the conversation, "After it was examined, we found out it was on the boat where a man four generations before you, Jonathan Joestar, died."

Joseph grapped the pictures, "It was apparently empty when they discovered it. But we know exactly what was inside!" He placed a hand on your head and Avdol's shoulder, "Avdol, (Y/N), Caesar and I are trying to locate him as we speak."

"Him? Hold on a sec." Jotaro was a bit confused now, "You're making it sound like there was a person in there. Why would you call something lost at sea for hundreds of years him?"

Joseph slammed his hand on the table as he stood up, "He is evil incarnate! His name is Dio! He has awakened from his hundred year sleep. We are fated to fight him!" Jotaro sighed and turned his head to look out the window behind him.

Caesar glared at the kid, "Don't act like this has nothing to do with you. As a member of your bloodline, you should be proud to be the one destined to face the foes of your ancestors before you!"

Jotaro turned back around, "This face means, that was so stupid I don't know what to say." He pointed a finger at the user of Magician's Red, "Avdol, was it? I don't know who you are, but you sure are full of yourself." He looked back at the angry Joseph, "And Old Man, do you expect me to hear such a crazy story and just say, oh I see, and believe it?"

Avdol let out a short laugh, "But is it not a fact that our evil spirits are crazy, as well?" Jotaro narrowed his eyes at the Egyptian's words.

Joseph sat back down, "Well, whatever. Soon, you'll have no choice but to believe. If you ask me why I know of Dio's existence," He held his hand out and Avdol pulled out a camera from his robe and placed it into the old man's palm. "and why I'm after him... I'll show you the reason. Actually, about a year ago, I also obtained an evil spirit, or rather, the power of a stand."

Holly gasped, "What?"

Jotaro's eyes widened, "Old Man, What are you-"

He was cut off by Joseph slamming the camera onto the table. "I shall show you! This is..." He rose his hand above his head and the Hamon going through it turned into purple vines as he swung it down, "my Stand!" He broke the camera and a picture came out. He quickly grabbed it. "Did you see it? The thorns that came from my hand? This is my Stand! Its power is to take spirit photos of visions I captured from far-off places! Though I have to smash and destroy a thirty thousand yen camera every time I do it."
