Dio appeared to have teleported behind Jotaro, dodging the ora rush rather effectively. However, there was a noticeable change in Dio's demeanor. He no longer seemed to be brimming to the rim with confidence, but appeared almost hesitant.

"Could you see me?" Questioned the vampire. You knew he wouldn't ask that unless Jotaro had done something during the time stop. When the high schooler didn't answer, Dio's anger increased, "I asked if you could see me, Jotaro!"

The Kujo looked down on the vampire, "Who knows? I don't know what you're talking about, Dio." He then used his Stand to propel himself off the walls of buildings, leaving rubble in his wake while Dio sped on after him.

Everything was moving a bit too quickly for your taste, "Caesar, I'm going to check on Joseph. Since you know Hamon you might be able to help Jotaro, but I don't know. When Joseph tried to use it through his Stand it didn't work out too well, and now he's... And the time stop... You've trained more, though, so maybe...?"

The Italian let out a long sigh as his hand combed through his hair, "Normally I'd be inclined to try and help him too, but we aren't exactly in normal circumstances right now. But if I take the motorcycle, how are you going to rejoin the battle fast enough?" Iggy let out a loud bark as the sand of his Stand shifted to mimic the appearance of the motorcycle, "Well, okay, I guess that settles that. I'll see you soon, hopefully." He hopped onto the vehicle and zoomed away.

Iggy trailed behind you as you crouched down next to the Joestar. Some nearby folks were freaking out about a cat's body parts getting in their food as well as eating utensils being shoved in their faces. But you could really care less about them at the moment. You placed two fingers over his carotid artery, the pulse was faint but still there. The knife hadn't cut through the entirety of his neck, so the blood loss was on the more minor side. The lucky man still seemed capable of living another day.

With a shaking hand, you reached towards the blade. You extended your other arm out to the side of out of habit, as though waiting for Kars to slice it open with his bone blade. However, only the default form of your Stand floated next to, it looked almost confused. With a sigh you sliced your thumb on the knife sticking out of the Joestar's neck.

Since the knife was in his throat, removing the object and stopping the bleeding quickly could've been a bit of a problem. The whole procedure was done in an instant, though, and you were now wondering where to move him. You didn't know where Polnareff had taken Kakyoin, so you couldn't bring him there.

However, you were pulled out of your thoughts by the weak grip of the injured man around your wrist. His voice was hoarse, "J-Just leave me here. Go...to Jotaro. Save my Grandson..." He forced a pained smile, "I'll... be fine..."

You slowly nodded, "Very well, Joseph. I'll do what I can to help your grandson. You have to keep yourself safe, though."

He nodded while letting out a hacking cough into his gloved hand. He hid the blood that had stained the white fabric, not wanting to worry you and make you stay longer than you needed to.

You got on the sand mimicry of a motorcycle and Iggy hopped into a basket hanging off the front. The dog lifted his nose into the air and sniffed around before the vehicle started to speed down the street under his control. He was forced to zoom between various trucks and cars due to the rather busy traffic.

Your eyes widened when you passed by what looked to be Caesar's motorcycle in a crushed up heap along the side of the road. The sight was worrying, to say the least. Iggy had his Stand pull to a stop upon arriving at one last corner. You could make out Jotaro hanging from a large sign of a book store and you noticed Caesar was attempting remain out of the view of whoever was in the fancy tableware and pottery shop. The Italian seemed a bit scraped up and his lip was bleeding.

The glass windows of the store had been shattered with pieces scattered all across the nearby by section of the street. Some blood seemed to trail inside. You didn't need to think long to figure out that Dio was likely the person in there. Additionally, Nu was hovering just out of Dio's sight above the front of the store with Hamon coursing through it's body. It was ready to make an attack. Caesar tapped the face of his wristwatch and then pointed at Jotaro. So the high schooler really could stop time after all.

"You. Woman." You tensed up at the sound of Dio's voice, at first wondering if he was addressing you. The shocked gasp from inside the store let you know this was not the case.

Dio was at first quite calm. "Fetch my leg from over there." Another terrified sob came from the woman and his voice suddenly became furious, "Hurry up and fetch it! Behave like a flight attendant, bringing a drink and caviar to a first class passenger!"

Jotaro hopped down onto the street, cracking the asphalt. "I guess I have to bash your head to pieces, or it'll be like nothing ever happened. You've already recovered your energy. Because that hole I put in your gut is closed up now."

"Your eyes followed me in the world of stopped time..." Spoke Dio who was suddenly standing on a street sign behind Jotaro. This one action making any effort Caesar had put into his mini ambush useless. "So you truly can see my movements, Jotaro."

Jotaro turned his body to match up with his line of sight, "I guess so."

Dio rested a hand on his hip, "My darling (Y/N) figured out the secret of my Stand, then your little friend Kakyoin figured out how long I could travel within my world, for now. I wonder..." He switched positions during stopped time to be on a building, "How long can you travel within my world of stopped time? Two? Three? Or perhaps you can move five seconds, just like me, and you're just pretending that you can't? And so on." He chuckled to himself. "Well? How about it?" He started rubbing his chin, "I believe you can only move for a moment now. But since you have invaded my world of stopped time, it would not be wise to underestimate you by getting close. Even when I still have an overwhelming advantage."

Dio tilted his head a bit, really contemplating his next course of action. He let out an annoyed 'tch' as he pretty much teleported out of the way of a few Hamon Bubble Disks. He brought out The World knock them aside with its fists when they changed direction to follow after the vampire only to let out a pained hiss as he stared at his stinging hands. His glaring eyes wandered over to Caesar and Iggy, "Although, perhaps I should take care of a few weaker flies first. That could help me figure a few things out."

Iggy immediately started to move the sand in a defensive formation around him and the Italian. Caesar started wobbling a bit before toppling onto the ground. A few feet away from you stood Dio, playing with one of the Zeppeli's mechanical legs, bending it at the knee with mild interest. "I was going to remove your legs for the fun of it, but it appears that has already been done. No matter." He threw the limb behind him.

Iggy finished his sand sphere that surrounded the three of you as you crouched down next to Caesar. Jotaro started to rush over to act as another means of defense against Dio.

Caesar let out an almost sad laugh, "You know, I had a feeling it would turn out like this. It seems to run in the family, after all." He gently grabbed your hand and planted a soft kiss on your knuckles, "So, make sure you find a way to stay happy when this is all over, Signorina." And then he was gone. As the sand began to sprinkle down on you from above, you almost wanted to believe that you had simply imagined him being there in the first place.

Iggy gave a pained whimper and you looked at him to see one of his ribs jutting out of his stomach. It was much worse than a simple cut, and you couldn't quite cover the wound with the same effectiveness, but you tried your best. Dio had decided to give the dog a kick during his stopped time. Probably just to give himself another laugh as he both internally and externally mocked all of you on how weak you were in comparison to him. And he was right. None of you were currently strong enough to compete against the vampire.

Star Platinum, in Jotaro's rage, threw several more punches at Dio. Bringing you partially out of your shocked state. Of course, the attacks were immediately blocked by The World.

You gently moved Iggy onto your lap, basically using your own body as a shield. Just in case the sight of the mangled up deceased Caesar Zeppeli flung into a crooked street lap wasn't enough for Dio.
