"I alone can obtain heaven. As it is through only my Stand that such a feat could be possible. The Stand that I have will ascend and in turn so will I, granting me powers greater than that of any god. All who roam this earth shall worship me as their lord and savior." He gently poked your nose, "But you know full well I want much more than a mindless slave out of you. Although, I'm sure with my newfound power I would be able find a way for you to achieve a similar state if you decide to remain uncooperative."

You brought a hand up to side of his face, caressing it while staring up at him with curious eyes. "And what exactly do you need to do to achieve your heaven, Dio?" While you tried to distract him, your Stand began the process of reclaiming Kars' hat.

Dio grabbed your hand and planted several soft kisses along your knuckles, "Oh, dear (Y/N), I'm sure you know full well the first step I must take. I must remove all of JoJo's descendants. Everything after that is a bit more complicated, so you needn't worry your pretty little head over it. Even I, Dio, am not capable of memorizing every minute detail which is why I have begun writing a dia-" He stopped himself and cleared his throat with a cough, "A journal. I've begun a journal. Even as an immortal vampire, I admit my mind is not quite perfect."

He stared off into the distance for a second, his voice becoming much quieter than was usual, "Although, the plan may go quite differently depending on the events of tonight. Then he might have to get involved..." There was a soft rustling behind him and he began to move his gaze away from you to see what it was.

You quickly intertwined your fingers with his own while leaning on his shoulder, successfully regaining his attention. However, you were sure not to move too fast that it'd feel unnatural. Your Stand had just managed to grab the hat. You didn't want to risk it now. Albeit curious of who he was referring to, you decided to change the subject, "Dio, I've been meaning to ask this, but how exactly did you gain your Stand?"

He had his fingers run along the side of your thigh, "Hmm, well... A few years ago, Enya pierced me with what she called a Stand arrow. I still have it, I'll just show it to you." He then raised his voice, "Vanilla Ice! Bring me the bow and arrow!"

You hear a muffled, "Yes, my lord." from the other side of the door and then the sound of fading footsteps. Your Stand had also just finished the necessary process of transformation and was put away for the time being. It had gone a lot smoother than you thought, but you you wouldn't be all that surprised if Dio actually knew what you were doing the whole time and was just internally laughing to himself. Perhaps he had even left the hat within your Stand's distance on purpose.

You could feel Dio's cold breath against you ear as he spoke, "He's such a loyal servant, you know. Don't you want a life of such luxury as this? Where everyone obeys you?" He tapped his chin in thought for a moment and laughed, "You know, when we first met I thought you might be someone like me who planned to rise from poverty through stealing the Joestar fortune. I'm glad I was wrong, else I doubt I would have ever found someone as intriguing to me as you." There was then a loud knock on the door, "Come in."

The man with long brown hair opened the door and walked inside the bedroom. He got down on one knee and held up a golden arrow in one hand and a less intriguing wooden bow in the other. The pattern along the metal of the arrowhead was very familiar to you as you compared it to the memory you had of the misshapen piece of metal that pierced Caesar and had since been sent off to the Speedwagon foundation.

Dio grabbed the arrow and twirled it around the tip of his pointer finger's nail, "This little thing is all it takes to gain a Stand. Apparently it can sometimes have negative effects, but no such thing has happened to me. I am an immortal vampire, after all. No such sickness could affect the likes of I, Dio." He placed the arrow back in Vanilla's hand. "You may go." Without another word the man left.
