CH. 69 He's got her?!

(Tut POV)

"We've heard that your Father had visited you and threatened you." One of my men said.

I nodded my head, knowing that it most likely has made its way around by now.

"Yes, he did. He threatened me with taking Amala." I said.

I watch my men's eyes widened.

"What? Where is she right now? Why didn't you bring her to this meeting with you?" One of my other men asked.

"She didn't want to join, and I suspect he plans on doing this next week or in a couple of days," I said.

"This is your father; you know how your Father is. You have to think of the opposite when it comes to him. You said you think he'll do it next week or in a couple of days? Why not now?" One of my men asked.

The room fell silent, as immediately stood up to leave.

The chamber door slam opened, Ramo and Leo were out of breath as they stared at me and neither of them had to say anything, they were with Mala, and now she's not with them.

I knew what just happened.

"How? Where?" I asked them as I rushed towards them, I could hear all the men behind me standing up, as I am sure they know from the disheveled looks of the boys. What just happened.

"This man, he came and took her, Mala was trying to protect us, but he used something on us that caused us to pass out. When we woke up, she wasn't next to us." Leo said.

Mala was trying to protect them. She's the target, but I know why she was still trying to protect them. Who knows what that person could have done to get people out of Mala way.

"Send an alarm and announcement, close everything down. No one is leaving." I said, throwing more orders out as my men rushed out of the room.

I should have assumed this; the bastard was a sneaky greedy disgusting excuse of a human being. I should have expected that he would do it earlier than I would have thought. Damn it, Mala, she wasn't expecting it to happen today as well.

I walked out of the chambers; Leo and Ramo were behind me.

"He was strange, he wore a cloak and was very fast," Ramo said.

A chill ran down my back.

No doubt in my head that it most likely was the same person that took my cousin lover as well.

"We are sorry that we couldn't stop him or protect Amala," Leo said. I stopped walking and turned around to face them.

The look on their faces showed me how they felt regarding all of this. They felt powerless.

I shook my head.

"Don't feel bad, neither of you should because I know if you two could you would do everything you can. I am glad that you both are safe, and no harm came to you. As Mala and I care for you both very much." I said to them both. Their eyes widened. As I'm sure, my words came as a shock to them.

Being with Mala reminded me that the level of society that a person falls into has nothing to do with the value and care you can have for them.

Most wouldn't care for Leo or Ramo in my status because of the status they are in, but that was different for me. These two are my family.

I walked up to both of them and pulled them both into a hug.

"I'm delighted you both are okay. I know Mala didn't want anything to happen to you too. Neither do I. So let's stay strong for her, okay?" I said, pulling away and looking at them.
