CH. 56 I don't want to leave

(Amala POV)

The food here was amazing, and I honestly had seconds each time, I was someone who rarely eats anyone cooking.

The cooking I had in Tut's place was exceptional as well; it was good to eat but their cuisine here.

It was delicious.

I was someone who wanted to take many to-go boxes if I want to take to-go boxes, which means that the food was excellent.

Now the sad thing was. There were no to-go boxes here, but believe me; I was going to find out a way somehow to bring this food back with me.

I couldn't believe that the man who gave us the tour was someone who came up with the idea to make this place with his people.

I also couldn't believe that he was related to the Queen.

That was hard to believe for me, but as I saw them talk and stand next to each other.

I admit I saw the relation and the facial familiarity between them as I saw them side by side and talking, but it did take me a while because I was distracted.

We were in our rooms now, Tut and I were in the same place.

I didn't even bother asking for a separate room because I felt safer when I was near Tut, and I know for sure that he would not have let that happen or made his way there himself.

"I'm glad you've been enjoying this place," Tut said, as he looked around the room and then checked the bed next.

It was something that he did every time, especially when he was home.

I never questioned it, because I understood why he kept doing it. Especially after the whole thing with the poison snake.

I mean, there are people out there that want to kill us, so of course, he had his reasons.

I mean, I wasn't a hundred percent sure that the Queen still didn't want to kill me.

So, it's best to keep checking.

"Yeah, it is truly amazing here," I said, acknowledging what he had said earlier.

"Good, you had no problem with showing it either." He said, giving me a smirk,

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Awww, look at Tut being Jealuso. You know you're the only ancient royalty person I adore having in my life." I said to him, causing his eyes to widen.

"Really? Is that so? You adore having me in your life?" He said, coming up to me.

I was stunned by how quick he made his way over to me.

"Well, yes. I mean, I am sure that it is obvious that I do. I am sure that it is to everyone that has come across us." I told him.

I was honest.

Anyone who could see the way I looked at Tut, the way I was overprotective of him, would know how much I felt about him.

I mean, I wasn't even begging to go home right now.

It was strange to me as I am someone who took my school life, personal life, and future crises.

I wasn't even stressing out that I was missing school, right now, essential assignments and that my mother was most likely worried about me.

Speaking of mother, I would have to see if I would be able to reach her.

Tut, grabbed my face gently to make me look at him.
