"Ass so fat I need a lap dance." I rapped as I got into the car, and Bash cleared his throat. I glanced back at him then I sat down. That was his way of asking me to chill out because his friends are around.

I faked a smile then I sat down as I began putting my headphones in my ear. I turned on "Say what you mean" by Queen Naija. "Baby," Bashar said, but I couldn't hear him cause of my music. Bash tapped me, and I looked at him fast as fuck taking one of my headphones out.

"Damn, what's wrong?" Jabari asked, and I looked at them, confused. "Nothing, why?" I asked, and they smiled. "The way you looked." They said in unison, and I chuckled. "Sorry, it's just my face," I said, then Bashar kissed my cheek. "My baby just naturally looks mean. She ain't friendly. But baby, I was saying when we get there, let the boys get out first." Bash said, and I nodded as I put my headphone back in my ear.

I felt people moving. Then someone tapped me again, so I took my headphones out and put them in the case. "Wassup?" I asked, a little annoyed, and Bashar looked at me, upset. "What's yo problem?" Bashar asked, and I looked at him lost. "What you mean?" I asked, and he glared at me like I knew what the fuck he was talking about. "Bash, if you wanna talk, then talk cause we too grown to be whispering cause you don't want yo nigga's to hear," I said, and he looked at me lost as fuck because how did I go from zero to a hundred real quick.

We pulled up to the party, and Bash looked at his friends. They nodded then got out of the car. I watched them walk away from the vehicle. Then Bash gently turned my head towards him. "What's wrong?" He asked, and I looked down as I began pouting cause I just had realized what I was doing. "This the club the first shooting happened at, and I just feel a little uncomfortable but also weird," I said, and Bashar made me look at him.

"I'm sorry, baby. I didn't even think about that or how you felt coming back here." Bash said, and I kissed him as a switch flipped in my mind. I stood up and looked down at Bash. "Ok, let's go in here and make this money," I said.

I looked at Lovely and could tell her business mode was now on, which scared me. I wanted her to have fun and not be in full work mode. All we do is work and take care of the kids, and I really wanted tonight to be different.

I went to grab her hand, but it's like she knew what I was going to do before I did, so she swiftly kept moving out the way without it being obvious. We were not in the club, and Lovely was making sure she kept her distance.
