"I'm George Weasley. We obviously haven't properly met." He comes near you and sticks his hand out. You roll your eyes and shake his hand. "Y/f/n Y/l/n." You say. His eyes grow wide. "You're a Y/l/n?" George asks sitting down next to you. "Yes." you say looking out the window. "That's brilliant." He says. "So what's it li-" "Oh wow look at that. We're at school. Good bye." You quickly grab your bag and leave the compartment. You hop off the train and get onto one of the carriages. "He still has my book. Dammit." You groan putting your head in your hands.
"I was going to give it back but you were being stubborn." You lift your head to reveal the two twin red heads. "Can I have it back George?" You stick your hand out for it. They both hop into the carriage. "Only if you'll be friends with Fred and I." He points to his brother next to him. You sigh. "Find. I'll be 'friends' with you two. Can I have my book now?" You ask reaching for it. George hands you your book. "Thanks." You whisper and start reading. "What's so fun about reading? It's just words. Pictures books are my cup of tea." Fred says elbowing George.
You stay quiet, continuing to read. "I told you this one was a party pooper." George whispers over to Fred. You shut your book and look at the two of them. "For your information I am not what you call a 'party pooper'. I have my own thought of fun. Reading helps me escape and tune out people like you two." You say. They look at each other and stay quiet. The carriage finally gets to the castle. You get off and walk inside to the Great Hall, sitting down with the rest of the Ravenclaws.
Dumbledore does his welcome speech and the feast begins. Ten minutes in you leave the Great Hall to go to the library. Madam Pince has always had some sort of soft spot for you. She let's you come to the library whenever you want. You greet Madam Pince as you walk in. "Did you have a good summer Irma?" You ask walking up to her. "Oh yes Y/n, I found many new interesting books this summer. How was yours?" She smiles at you.
"Eh, same old same old." You laugh. She nods. You walk farther into the library and sit down in a corner. You skim over the book shelved around you before grabbing a random one to read. "Is this your idea of fun?" You jump and look up to see George. "Why must you bother me?" You say. George smiles and sits next to you. "Cause you're my new frienddddd." He drags on. You give him a weird look before going back to your book.
George rests his head on the palm of his hand and stares at you. "Do you always spend your time here?" He asks another question. You close your book and move to a different corner. "You're boring." George says as he follows you. You turn, stopping him in his tracks. "Why are you following me? All your friends at your house table are probably wondering where you are. I came here for peace and quiet." You say looking up at him.
He smiles down at you. "What are you smiling at Weasley?" You scoff and sit down. George follows. "You're quite stubborn....I like you." He laughs. You continue to read until he takes your book again. You slam your hands on the table and look at him. "Why must you be so annoying? I'm just trying to get away from everyone and be alone. That's all I ask." You stand up and leave the library, heading up to the Ravenclaw common room.
