"We've tried stomping on it." "Throwing it at a wall." "Throwing it on the ground." "Casting spells that will most likely break something." "Especially Diffindo." "Yes Diffindo didn't work some how." They both say, going back and forth with each other. You stare at them for a moment before smiling. "You two remind me of Fred and George. Finishing each other's sentences and going back and forth." You laugh. "I told you Draco isn't a bad person. You two just started off on the wrong foot in your first year. He didn't want to be an arse to you, Ron and Hermione." You smile.

"Hey!" Draco yells. "I'm not the one who rejected some bloke's handshake, trying to be someone's friend." He rolls his eyes. "Well somebody was being a complete arse to someone." Harry shoots back. They bicker back and forth until you roll your eyes and push them away from each other. "Now now, let's not get too hasty here. Let's not dwell in the past either. Try throwing the horcrux into a god damn fire. Burn the thing." You suggest. They both look at each other. "That's what we didn't try!" They say in unison.

You face palm before a loud crack is heard. You walk over to a window and look outside. The shield around Hogwarts has cracked and pieces are falling. "What is it Y/n?" Draco asks. You sigh before looking at the two of them. "The shield around us is broken and falling. Voldemort broke it. It's starting." You sigh. Draco and Harry stay quiet, processing what you just said. "Harry, you need to get to Nagini. Kill that damn snake. That might be the last Horcrux. Draco, you're coming with me." You state before starting to walk away. "Kill the snake please Harry. It gave me the creeps." Draco says to Harry before running to catch up with you.

You walk fast along the corridors with your wand out and Draco following behind. "Y/n! Slow down! Where are we even going?" He asks behind you. You walk towards the front of the castle until Draco grabs your arm, pulling you back towards him. "Why are w-" "Voldemort still thinks we're on his side! I want to see what the fuck we are up against Draco." You cut him off, yanking your arm back.

He looks down at you before you sigh and rub your temple. "I'm sorry Draco. I'm just tired a-and I never thought this would happen. But after Voldemort came back, I knew something like this would happen." Draco pulls you into a hug. "It's okay. I understand, you were locked in the cellar for months." He whispers and pulls away. You both walk outside seeing the final pieces of the shield fall to the ground. Everything is quiet. You can see Death Eaters on the other side along with Dementors floating near them. "Hey Draco." You call to him. "Yeah?" He says back walking next to you.

"Remember when I taught you the Patronus Charm?" You ask, raising your wand. "Yeah why?" He follows your eyes seeing hundreds of Dementors. "Well, I'm gonna need you think of a really fucking happy memory cause a lot of people here don't know how and can't defend themselves." You watch as one last piece falls and no one moves. After a few seconds pass the Dementors start flying towards Hogwarts. They fly in fast as more people come outside. "Expecto Patronum!" You yell multiple times, hitting multiple Dementors. You look back at Draco who is doing okay. Death Eaters start running down the hill and crossing the bridge. You look at Draco again seeing him being surrounded by Dementors.
