My Girl - George Weasley x Reader

Chapter 110

Skip to the day before you get married :)
You're at the Burrow making sure you have everything ready for tomorrow. Molly took you dress shopping to get the perfect dress. Your bridesmaids all came up with what they were going to wear. You and George decided to get married at the Burrow like Bill and Fleur did a few years ago. You set your engagement ring on the counter as you get ready to hop into the shower. "Y/n darling? Can I come in?" George asks from the other side of your door. "No George. I've heard from Hermione that it's bad luck if the bride and groom see each other before they get married." You say back to him.

You hear him whine from the other side as you get into the shower. The door opens and you sigh. "Why are you in here?" You ask him. "We can't see each other!" George says and sits on the ground. "So no bad luck. I just need to be in the same room as you." He admits. You laugh and shake your head as you continue washing your hair. "You're like a toddler with separation issues." You joke. "I AM a toddle with separation issues Y/n." You finish your shower and start to get out. "I'll see you tomorrow my beautiful wife." George says before leaving the room. You blush and dry off with your towel.

After getting dressed you grab your ring and lay down on your bed examining it. You sigh and look over to your beside table seeing a box sitting there. Confused, you sit up and grab it. You open the top and peer inside seeing a spoon. You take it out and set the box aside.

You look at the spoon closely. "It looks like a normal spoon I d-." You cut yourself off as you turn it around seeing a moving picture of Fred on the front of it. You gasp and look down at it silently. You pick the box back up and look all around it trying find where it would say it's from someone until a tiny bit of paper falls out. "Give this to George when
you get married." It reads. You look on the back but it doesn't say anything. "How could this possibly just be sitting here on my table and have it say it's from no one." You say.  You yawn and set Fred's spoon back into the box and place it on the table.

The next morning, you wake up happily and head downstairs. You enter the kitchen and see Molly making breakfast. She turns towards you and smiles at you. "Ohh, my beautiful daughter in law. I can't believe you and George are getting married!" She says and hugs you. "After breakfast I'm planning to get ready. I can't see George until it's time we get married." You say as she pulls away. Molly nods and smiles as your bridesmaids enter the kitchen. "I never thought that George would get married." Ginny jokes.

Molly glares at her. "Don't be rude about your brother." She says before turning back to the stove. "GOOD MORNING MY AMAZING FAMILY!" George yells while walking down the stairs and entering the kitchen. Ginny quickly covers George's eyes as Hermione covers yours. "Bloody hell Ginny! What are you doing?" He asks trying to take her hands off of his face. "Bad luck!" Ginny and Hermione say together.
