Chapter 16: Demon Castle

After Natsu got back his X-rays about his completely healed harm. He wondered if the new power he got from eating Thor's lightning is actually a good thing. He begins to think back to the conversation he had with Irene and everyone else back in the infirmary.

Irene: Look at the damage that was done to your arm. Yes that new power of yours is strong, and the destructive strength it has is out matched but at what cost? Your arm is completely damaged, pinched nerves, muscle tear. You either train your body to get use to this new power or you stop using it completely. Even with training I don't think your body will got accustomed to it.

Natsu who was laying on his bed raises his right arm up into the air staring at it.

Natsu: even with all of that my scales still didn't go away.

He says as he opens and closes his fist. He also sees his dragon mark on his arm.

Natsu: this is the only thing I have left of my parents.

The bathroom doors open inside his room as he lifts his head up a little to see Irene coming out of the bathroom drying her hair with a towel already dressed in comfortable clothes to sleep in.

Irene: sorry I took long I had to wash my hair.

She goes to sit and takes a seat on the bed. Natsu sits up as he opens his legs and his sits behind Irene with his legs to her side. He warms his hands up a little and gently passes his hands through Irene's hair drying it in the process.

Irene: who needs a hair dryer when I have you.

She says with a giggle. She hands Natsu her hair brush she he can brush it once he's done drying her hair. Irene notices how quite Natsu is. He is usually talking or playing around with her, even making some jokes here and there.

Irene: Are you still thinking of what I told you back at the university?

Natsu: yeah...

Irene: I guessed as much. Just train your self to use it. Don't go over doing it, just do some training and hopefully your body gets used to it and you can use it more often.

Natsu: I know, just I don't think I'll have time to train. With everything that the first master said, I don't think we'll have much free time on our hands.

Irene: Right..but hey what ever you decide to do with the remaining six I'll be with you every step of the way okay?

Natsu: thank you Irene I can always count on you.

Irene: that's what your queen is for, now come here

She turns around and kisses Natsu. She's aggressive as she puts her one knee on the bed and with her other leg gently pushes. Natsu to not fall back places both his hands behind him to stay up. Eventually he gave in as the two of them fall on the bed. The following morning everyone was up bright and early. Everyone was chatting enjoying there breakfast meanwhile Natsu was silently eating his food. With everything that Master Mavis told him still lingering fresh in his mind it's no wonder the young dragon is silent. On one hand if he doesn't come to terms with the other Etherious demons he will either have to silence them permanently or join them. But if he joins them then he will be going to war against Fairy Tail something he doesn't want. Everyone in Fairy Tail are his friends, Mira has her siblings in that guild, Irene has Erza, the other dragons are also there but most importantly to him he will be fighting Lucy. Everyone notices how quite he is so they try to make conversation with him.

DiMaria: master..?

Natsu: yeah?

DiMaria: have you decided on who will be joining us?
