Chapter 11: Confusing Meldy

In the Northern part of Japan, four out of the five dragon gods came together after spending a full year apart from each other. They all agreed for a brief meeting on behalf of Selene who wanted to speak to everyone. Ignia, Mercphobia, Viernes, and Selene all sat around a round table with each a drink near them as some of the servants made sure the gods where okay with everything. Selene the moon dragon god was the first one to speak.

Selene: It's good to see all of you after such a long time. I see all of you have been doing well.

Viernes: Yeah at least I can say I've been good. Not so sure for the rest of you.

Mercphobia: I'm doing fine thanks for asking

He says with a slight bow. Ignia doesn't say a word he just looks at everyone.

Selene: Unfortunately I couldn't get in touch with Aldoron. It seems he's ignoring us. But anyways let's get down to business shall we gentlemen. I'm sure you're all aware of what happened a year ago and how noise things got in the underworld.

Mercphobia: Yeah we're well aware.

Viernes: who knew that little brat still had it in him. I wish I would've been in that battle! I would have had my share of blood!

Mercphobia: That reminds me have you been keeping up with your training?

Viernes: we're gods there's no need for us to train.

Mercphobia: I wouldn't be so sure, Natsu can surprise you.

Viernes: I'm not like you who got my ass handed to me by a puny dragon.

Mercphobia changes his eyes to his dragon slits as does Viernes.

Selene: Easy boys easy, we're all in the same team. There's no need for violence.

Ignia: Tch.

Selene turns to look at Ignia.

Selene: something the matter my dear Ignia?

Ignia: Cut the crap would you Selene. Why don't you tell us why you really brought us here? Is it to tell us how your plan to use Natsu failed?

Selene: oh dear, I have no idea what you're talking about.

She turns her look towards Mercphobia. He simply stares back at her.

Ignia: Really? Then how come rumors were spreading around of Natsu dying during his battle against Mercphobia. Then after he miraculously comes back to life and all hell brakes loose in the underworld.

Selene chuckles.

Selene: Well who knows maybe he passed out during the battle and that made it seem like he died

Ignia slams his fist on the table raising his aura.

Ignia: One more lie out of your mouth and I'll kill you.

Selene: Ara such a big and scawy dragon

Mercphobia: Selene just tell us the truth. I know you captured Natsu after my battle with him and you tortured him until you forced his demon side to come out.

Selene: oh. You knew? Did that little girl tell you?

Mercphobia: It doesn't matter who told me. His roars could be heard all through your palace. It doesn't take a genius to know when one of our own is in pain.

Selene shrugs her shoulders.

Selene: fine fine it looks like the cat is out the bag. Yeah I might have done some mean things to him in order to get the demon out. But I swear it was all for a good cause.
