Within the Chen Zhu palace. Xian's subordinates from the sensory unit pick up on the unusual lightning activity several miles away from the main city, near the country side of China.

Subordinate 1: Hmm. Something isn't right.

Subordinate 2: What's the matter?

Subordinate 1: This.

The other subordinate takes a look at the map and sees what his comrade is referring to.

Subordinate 2: Lightning? What's so scary about lightning? Could be just a thunderstorm approaching.

Subordinate: A thunderstorm without any dark clouds in the skies?

Subordinate 2: You're overthinking. It's nothing, thunder can always be heard even when there aren't any clouds.

Subordinate: I'm not so sure.

Subordinate 2: Ugh..has there been any magical activity?

Subordinate 1: No...

Subordinate 2: There you go, then it's nothing. If you're still hung up about it then send a squad to check.

Subordinate: Right that is what I'm going to.

With that the subordinate sent a squad to check out the area in question. Xian was immediately notified about the situation.

Xian: Very well, excellent work in picking up on this. Even if it was just a regular thunder storm it's better to be sure.

Subordinate 1: told you so.

The other subordinate rolled his eyes, as he got proven wrong.

Xian: But just in case it is something bigger mobilize the other squads. Do it in a peaceful manner. Let's not alert the citizens or worry Lady DiMaria and the others.

Both subordinates agree and take off to do there jobs.

Xian looked up towards the skies and began to notice dark clouds rolling in from the east.

Xian: How ironic. The land of the rising sun is to the east of us, and these clouds are coming in from that direction. I hope this isn't a bad omen.

Meanwhile DiMaria who is in the training grounds training by herself is preparing herself for the fight that is to come.

DiMaria: I know he's here. I know he's alive. I sensed him.

She looks at her mark and notices it's still glowing. Thankfully she has a long sleeve workout shirt that is covering her mark. She then hears the thunder echoing above her making her look up. She takes in a deep breath and exhaled it.

DiMaria: it's going to rain...

A single drop of water landed on her cheek as she was looking up. The drop rolled down her cheek slowly making it seem as if she was crying.

Xian: Lady DiMaria? Is everything alright?

She looks towards Xian.

DiMaria: Yeah everything is fine. Why do you ask?

Xian: You...you have a tear coming down your cheek?

DiMaria: huh?

She passes her hand by both her cheeks feeling the water drop on her right cheek.

DiMaria: oh..I wasn't crying this was the rain.

Xian: Oh...my apologies I didn't know.

DiMaria: It's okay.

She takes a seat, sitting with her legs crossed and begins to meditate. Xian stands there for a few seconds then decided to leave. But before he can go DiMaria calls on him.
