Chapter 31: Acnologia

The tall man spoke, his voice was very deep with a mysterious tone to it. When he spoke everyone paid attention. His presence alone demanded for everyone to stop doing what ever it is they're doing and listen.

???: I smell dragons.

He said as he looked around at everyone who is standing there watching Natsu and Nanami fight. Natsu examined the man looking for any clues on who this mysterious person could be. One thing that stood out from the man that he quickly recognized is the blue tribal markings on the man's right arm. Natsu began to remember where he saw those markings before, he remembers that on the drawing the old dragon drew before her death had the same markings. He looked over at Irene who didn't take her eyes of the mysterious man. He then turned his eyes a bit more to the right seeing Ena, and Wendy helping Atlas.

Nanami: who are you? How did you find this place?!

She demands to know how the man found the village. But the man ignores her as he continues to scan through the small crowd of people trying to find the off springs of the former king and queen.

???: I'm looking for the kings offspring. I know they are here.

Natsu's eyes widen hearing the mysterious person is looking for him and his sister. He then feels a stinging sensation coming from his right arm. He goes to reach for his arm trying to hold in the pain, but the mysterious man immediately sees this. Nanami looks at Natsu confused as to what is going on then looks back at the tall man.

Nanami: listen here asshole I don't know who you are or what it is you think you can accomplish. But either you leave or I'll make you.

The mysterious man looks at Nanami like she's a pest, and once again ignores her.

???: Last chance. Either reveal your self or I'll start killing every dragon here.

Atlas who is still a bit out of it finally begins to come to his senses when he picks up on a scent he hasn't smelled in years. When his vision finally comes too he sees the man that killed so many of his kin.

Atlas: Acnologia.

Ena looks at her husband surprised to hear that name. She looks back at the dragon.

Ena: that's Acnologia..? I thought King Igneel killed him.

Acnologia turns to look in the direction of Atlas and Ena hearing there muttering.

Acnologia: So you two know of me?

Both dragons are frighten to there core from just Acnologia glancing at them. Ena immediately goes to grab Miyu carrying her in her arms. Natsu also heard what Atlas said as he is surprised to see the man they called the black dragon.

Natsu: Acnologia...

Nanami: Don't ignore me bastard! Look at me when I'm talking to you!

She says in roar like tone causing Acnologia to finally acknowledge her.

Natsu: Nanami now is not the time to let your pride get in the way. This man is dangerous.

Nanami: Like I care, dangerous or not I'll kill him then we will continue our fight. Water Dragons Roar!

Natsu: Nanami don't!

She lets out a powerful roar in the direction of Acnologia. He doesn't move, as a matter a fact he barely flinches at the attack. He simply stood there and took the frontal attack of the roar. When Nanami was done she smiled arrogantly thinking to herself that she's got him but her smile soon disappears when she picks up on Acnologia's scent once more.
