Chapter 26: Song Of Dragons

Having heard about his fathers past. Natsu couldn't believe that something like that occurred. An old lady telling them about future events that where to come, a human being able to turn into a dragon, and the battle that was awaiting him. For Natsu it was always something. Rather it being where it all began in Kuoh. Finally being able to find a place he could call home. Going to regular school, meeting new people who would eventually become his friends. Then everything slowly changed around him and he had to protect his friends and his sister as well. His battle with Loki, finding out about the dragon gods, nearly dying battling one, having himself give in to the darkness inside him, to taking place in a war that would cause him to be in hiding for a full year. To now finding out there was an entire village populated by dragons like him, like his sister, like Irene. And now having to find out one of those dragons hates his guts because of something his parents did in the past to now finding out about an archenemy who fought against his dad for three full days. All of these thoughts clouded Natsu's mind. He walked and walked not knowing where he was going. While lost in thought he realized the moon had come out and it was brightening up the sky. He looks up at the moon and sees it as well as the stars accompanying her.

Natsu: Even you have people who keep you company huh?

He says speaking to the moon. He feels a soft wind blow by which causes him to close his eyes. He becomes completely relaxed having his eyes closed and just listening to the wind blow past him. He then begins to hear a familiar tune. He tilts his head a bit to the side hearing the song being played.

Natsu: this song...I've heard it before.

He thinks back to the night before when he first heard this song being played. He remembers Atlas telling him that every night Nanami would play this song. He opened his eyes and began to follow the sound, the closer he got the louder the song was being played. Although it was loud enough for the entire village to hear for some reason when he got closed it was loud but smooth at the same time. He then picked up on the scent of fresh water which caught his attention even more. He then stops as if something tells him to. He closes his eyes once again and remembers the memories he had with his parents when he was a child. Beautiful memories that he will never forget, memories that he even thought he had forgotten but the song triggered them. As the song slowed down he opened his eyes seeing himself on the shore of a small lake. He looks down seeing the waves softly hit the shore. He wonders how he got to that spot but immediately brushes it off when he hears the voice of a woman.

Nanami: Hopefully everyone were able to hear it. I didn't do it in my usual spot because I really had to take a bath.

Natsu is surprised to see Nanami with her back turned to him. His eyes examine her entire body. From her beautiful orange hair that was about the length of her shoulders, to her back that had the dragon markings he remembers seeing during there brief fight, his eyes follow her body downward seeing her curves, her round butt, thighs, and her long legs. As if in a trans his eyes change into his dragon slits hypnotized by Nanami's beauty.

Natsu: Wow..

He says, Nanami slightly moves her head which Natsu sees. He quickly covers his mouth but is too late. Nanami with incredible speed had already pounced on Natsu.

Nanami: What the hell are you doing here?! We're you peaking in on me? You pervert. Isn't it enough that you have those two women with you that you have to come after me next!
