A portal opened up behind Sora and Sorashi. The twins were seating down on the steps of the main temple building waiting for Mari to return. They heard the noise of the portal opening making them turn around and seeing Mari stepping out. The twins stand up and Sora is the first to kneel down. Sorashi just looks at her brother. Sora hits her on her leg and also kneels. Mari sees this and taps them both on there shoulders.
Mari: There's no need for that.
Sora: But my lady, you're the new..
Mari: Don't call me that either. DiMaria is fine.
The twins look at her, she nods her head and the twins stand up. This is when Sorashi breaks the ice and ask the question both of them want to know.
Sorashi: What happened to her? Is mom really..?
Mari: Dead? No. I absorbed her.
Sora: You didn't kill her?
Mari extends her hand out as a small golden orb appears on her hand. Both twins look at it and can feel Tsukuyomi's presence. They immediately look at her as she smiles at them.
Sora: what would you have us do?
Mari: Nothing. What ever atrocities your mother made you guys do I won't do them to you. Yes we will still keep an eye on those who use time magic for evil. We will also have China and Japan under our protection from now on.
Sorashi: Japan? Aren't you from there?
Mari: Yes. I also lived a different life after I left you guys. I have family back home.
Sora: I'm fine with this.
Mari: Sorashi?
Both Mari and Sora look at her, wondering what her answer will be.
Sorashi: Ugh fine. I'm okay with this as well. But hey what about your boyfriend?
Mari: Huh?! Wha..what boyfriend? Who are you talking about?!
Sorashi breaks out in laughter, and Sora chuckles.
Sorashi: Geez. If you're going to be this easy to tease, our time together will be fun.
Mari: Shut up!
Sorashi: I'm serious though. Does he know?
Mari looks towards her hands and remembers her night spent with Natsu. She smiles as she remembers how they both declared there love for one another.
Mari: I didn't tell him directly but I made sure to leave a message explaining everything.
Sorashi: Are you sure that's okay with you?
Sora: She's right. Becoming a god isn't easy. Especially the god of time and space. It's tedious, and you'll be away not just from your family but from him as well.
Mari: I know. I made my peace with all of that. I knew that when I absorbed your mother. I'm happy with my decision, and besides it's not like I won't be seeing him.
The twins look at each other then back at her. Xian suddenly appears.
Xian: Lady DiMaria!
All three look behind them and see Xian out of breath.
Xian: Is it true? Are you really..
Mari: Shhh
She places her finger near her mouth in a playful manner. Xian immediately kneels down.
Xian: DiMaria sama..congratulations on your hard work.
Mari: Could you not. I already told Sora not to call me that.
