Chapter 66: Paradox Shift

With Mira's attack combined with Brandish using her magic to expand the spell and Irene using her enchantments to increase it's strength, all three women had hoped that it was enough to stop Natsu before things got any worse. DiMaria also played a big factor in stopping the rampaging dragon. She held onto Natsu until the very last second before using one of her daggers and stabbing Natsu rendering him motionless. Anna also used her celestial chains to help keep Natsu in place so that the attack would succeed. Outside of the arena everyone from the civilians to the gods, felt the impact and witnessed the massive attack. But back inside the arena it was a different story. The girls had injuries but nothing to lethal, and Natsu was unconscious. Everyone had made there way to him to check up on him and immediately got him some help along with everyone else involved in the scuffle. There safest bet is to go back to there home, back to Tokyo and recover there. But Irene was too exhausted to use any magic at the time. So instead Mercphobia offered his home town to keep everyone safe.

Mercphobia: I'll take you all to Ermina. We will be safe there and no one could find us.

The water dragon god looked at Ignia, and wondered if he will join them. But Ignia just brushed him off and left back to his own village. Upon arriving the first one to get medical attention was Natsu, then followed by the girls and everyone else involved. When the girls knew that Natsu was okay, and resting they were finally able to breath a sigh of relief. Thankfully the medical staff for Mercphobia weren't no strangers to helping out dragons. As his new medical facility specializes in treatments of patients in the dragon category but they had there limits to what they can heal. Unlike Wendy, and the former Dragon Queen, who had amazing healing abilities. On the outside Natsu was healing well enough and with the help of the medical staff they were able to stabilize him enough to where his own healing abilities kicked in and took over from where they left off. But on the inside, inside Natsu's mind things were different.

Natsu began to open his eyes slowly seeing the blue skies above and the white clouds. The first thing he did was grab for his head, and began to get up slowly as he looked around and saw green grass. The soft wind gently hitting him in the face, and his scarf blowing along with the wind. He reaches for his scarf and felt relief knowing his most prized position was still intact after his fight with the gods.

Acnologia: You're finally awake.

Natsu looked around and noticed Acnologia sitting next to him. He slowly got away from the dragon.

Natsu: what..what happened?

Acnologia: What do you mean? You fought the Greek gods and won. After though...you prematurely awakened.

Natsu: Prematurely? What?

Acnologia stands up and begins to head in the opposite direction of Natsu. He looks behind and yells at the dragon.

Natsu: Oi! What do you mean prematurely?!

Acnologia: Follow me, it will be simpler if I explained.

Reluctantly Natsu decided to follow Acnologia. The two didn't say much to each other unlike the other time when they spoke. Natsu sensed as if Acnologia is hiding something from him or seemed angry at something.

Natsu: Are you going to tell me what did you mean or are you just going to ignore me?

Acnologia stops walking as does Natsu. The wind once again blew by as it made Acnologia's cape flop and Natsu's scarf as well.

Acnologia: Let me ask you something kid. What is the difference between a hero and a villain?

Natsu: huh? Why are you asking such a thing?
