Chapter 50: For My Sister

Natsu slowly opened his eyes after hearing a very familiar voice speak to him.

Acnologia: You've done it now brat.

He slowly leans up to see none other then Acnologia sitting next to him. He quickly gets up on guard.

Natsu: w-what are you doing here?!

Acnologia: Me? Question is what are you doing here.

Natsu looks at the dragon with a confused look he then decides to look around and sees a dead field. Tress that once held beautiful leaves have now fallen, green grass that once covered the fields are now brown, dying from the lack of nutrition. He sees one flower peddle slowly falling to the ground following it with his eyes. He sees the color pink on the peddle and instantly recognizes the type. He looks back up.

Natsu: What happened..? What happened to the cherry blossom fields?!

Acnologia: So you know this place?

Natsu: Yeah...it's were dead dragons go to rest.

Acnologia chuckles.

Acnologia: Dead? Does that mean you're dead too?

Natsu: No..I hope not!

Acnologia shakes his head.

Acnologia: You're such an idiot.

Natsu: Shut up! You're the one who's dead!

Acnologia: Easy. Relax would you, I'm only here because you want me to be.

Natsu: Me?!

Acnologia: Yeah. Did you forget you drank my blood.

Natsu remembers

Natsu: That's right..

He looks down then back up towards the fields.

Natsu: Does that mean..

Before he can finish Acnologia quickly shuts down his hopes.

Acnologia: No. Neither Igneel nor Grandine are here.

Natsu looks sadden by this. He was hoping to see his parents.

Acnologia: You look disappointed. Were you expecting to see them?

Natsu: I'm not sure..Last time I spoke to them they told me it would be the last time, but I always hoped I could be able to see them one more time..

Acnologia stands up from ground and looks towards Natsu. He looks back towards the fields and begins to walk. Natsu not knowing what else to do follows him.

Acnologia: Do you know why you're here?

Natsu: No...I guess I'm using this as an escape from reality.

Acnologia: Maybe. Or maybe you subconsciously came here to seek for help.

Natsu: why would ask you for help?

Acnologia: Because you idiot! I know what's going on with you.

He says as he stops walking looking back towards Natsu.

Natsu: what do you mean?

Acnologia: You haven't noticed?

Natsu: Noticed what?!

Acnologia: You really are an idiot. You haven't noticed that you've gotten more aggressive towards everyone that isn't in your clan?

Natsu looks at his hands opening and closing them. He remembers his talk with Azazel about taking over the underworld, and the meeting they had with the devils. He also remembered how he used his new form of lightning and didn't get injured because of it.
