Chapter 49: Your Actions Have Consequences

New Anchor: This is a special news bulletin. This just in, mysterious weather has been suddenly appearing on our front door steps. Thunder storms, and lightning have been seen around the city causing massive power outages all around. Numerous eye witness accounts have reportedly seen a little girl with blue hair running at unnatural speeds. As well as seeing her climbing tall buildings. Others around the city have reported seeing a young man in his twenties also running up buildings. We have our live news caster reporting live from the scene in which all of this has occurred.

Newscaster: Yes thank you! I am live with some eye witnesses who manage to see these two people acting weirdly.

The newscaster moves to her right and begins to interview a civilian.

Newscasters: Tell me ma'am you said you saw this little girl run up a building? Is that correct?

Civilian: yes she has really pretty blue hair, and she was running super fast and next thing I knew I saw her climbing up a tall building! It was crazy!

Newscaster: and you sir you said you also saw this young man also doing the same?

Civilian: Yes I just barely managed to catch a glimpse of him with my high resolution camera, here take a look!

The man shows the camera the photo he took. It showed the Natsu from behind with sparks of lightning surrounding him, and his very noticeable scarf.

Newscaster: we have one more eye witness account who said they heard some weird sounds.

Civilian: It sounded like a monster roaring! It scared my children. I didn't how to explain it to them. I just told them we were having some really bad weather.

Newscaster: Thank you so much for your time. As you can see numerous civilians have seen these two individuals acting unnatural. With everything that's been going on, and the unnatural weather we've been having. We must ask ourselves. "Is this the work of God? Or is this the start of something else more sinister?" Reporting live from Northern Japan. We go back to the studio.

The feed cuts off and shows the news anchor about to give her final statement.

News Anchor: Thank you very much. It's only been one week since our country split in two. One week since reports of hundreds of soldiers being killed in a vicious way in Southern Japan. Our sister network in Southern Japan, made a very bold statement. In which they pleaded for our country to come together as one. They asked for help, to listen to the voice of the people. I think the voice of the people has become violent. Our brothers and sisters of the military were only there to help, bring supplies and food for all of you, and you respond by viciously murdering our armed men and women. The next time you ask for help make sure you look at yourselves in the mirror. Because if I was the prime minister I wouldn't send help at all.  You guys down in Southern Japan are lucky our prime minister is kind and forgiving. I'll wrap this up by saying this. To the one, or ones who killed all of those innocent people. Turn your self in, or leave this country. You are only causing more damage to the people and this place we call home.

Once again the feed cuts off. Karameel, Griselda, and Brandish sit there looking at the tv which is muted. Knowing that Natsu and the others went to Northern Japan made them worry about what the news have been reporting.

Griselda: What do they mean that hundreds are dead?

She asks. Karameel and Brandish look at each other and don't say anything. They know that Natsu killed those military men, as she herself along with DiMaria tagged along with Natsu and wiped them out. Karameel knew about this but didn't say anything to Griselda. Karameel being use to Mercphobia taking actions like this didn't surprise her but not telling Griselda about this could end up bad for them.
