Chapter 76: The Pristess of Peace

While Natsu is in Kyoto visiting Todo and Mai. The rest of the girls stayed behind in Tokyo. It was like any other day basically. Karameel and Griselda were preparing food to have ready for when Natsu and the others returned while Brandish is being a couch potato. But Wendy on the other hand began to do what her older brother does and sit down at the very top of the Tokyo Tower. When she got up there she understood why her brother likes to come up here.

Wendy: Wow! The view is amazing from up here. You can see every corner of the city!

She closes her eyes and feels the gentle wind blow by as it gently hits her face and makes her hair sway. When she closes her eyes all of her other senses take over. She can smell the different scents of people, and animals, even food. But a dragons most powerful sense is their hearing. She could hear all of the chatter going around in the city. From two street cats meowing and hissing at each other. To little kids playing at the near by play ground. She then heard footsteps approaching the tower. She didn't react to it, in fact she focused more on her hearing and heard that a group of people gathered at the foot of the tower to pray. She slowly opened her eyes and saw the group of people kneeling down placing flowers, and stuffed animal near the bottom.

Wendy: It's amazing how much the city has progressed. I know Irene San still feels guilty about what happened but she must be a little happy to see how the hopes of these people has risen since. Without Mercphobia's help this city would still be slowly rebuilding. Instead he helped it speed up a small bit. I'm glad to see everyone happy and not being down for what happened. I just wish Natsu can rest...but it's impossible with the dragon gods still hiding, and that's not to say that there's a guild out there of humans who've beaten dragons and ate them to gain their power..that's insane. But no matter I'm sure we will all get through this! Besides now that the nine have finally all gathered together plus our clan growing in numbers we will for sure be tough to beat.

Suddenly the ringing on Wendy's phone scares her. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone to see who or what left a notification on her phone. When she goes to look at it she sees that it's Akeno who messaged her.

Wendy: Akeno San? I wonder what happened.

She unlocks her phone and begins to type back to her.

-Akeno San? What's the matter?

*Wendy! I'm so glad you answered back.

-Yeah I mean why wouldn't I. 

*I just thought you were with Natsu. But anyways here I'll send you my location there's something urgent that we need to talk about.

-Urgent? If it's urgent shouldn't We wait for Natsu?

*Well you see I tried calling him but he seems to be out of range so his phone automatically goes into voicemail. Same thing with Irene sama.

-Oh...I still think we should wait for Natsu..

*This can't wait Wendy. It's urgent.

Wendy rubs her head as she thinks about what to do. Should she respond to Akeno and accept this urgent call or should she wait for Natsu.

Wendy: Ahhh! I don't know what to do! What would Brandish say?

She uses her wind magic to make air bubbles to put on her chest to act as breast.

Wendy/Brandish: Well you're going to be future queen once Natsu decides to hang it up. Why shouldn't you go? I mean if the king and queen aren't here shouldn't the current dragon princess future dragon queen settle things like this?
