After defeating the three Factions once more. Natsu and the rest of his friends have gone into hiding. After hearing it out of his own mouth Rias does as she was told. Having taking over the underworld becoming a great Satan, she did just that. But...
After the shocking terms made by Wendy and Lucoa, there were still some who couldn't believe Wendy would make such a demand. Let alone Lucoa accepting these terms and going even farther with them. Once the meeting had finished everyone else began to get ready for bed. Everyone except for Irene and Lucoa. Irene had somethings to do before heading to bed, knowing that tomorrow they'll be leaving to help out Lucoa, she had to make preparations. Along the way Lucoa saw her, she decided to approach her and take a seat and watch Irene. The dragon queen turned her head and saw Lucoa, she turned back and continued with her preparations.
Irene: What do you want?
Lucoa: Nothing just watching what you're doing.
Irene continues but after a few seconds she stops.
Irene: Are you truly going to give up your own land just to get Natsu to help you?
Lucoa: Why not? My people need someone as strong as he is.
Irene: Sounds to me you just don't want the responsibility.
Lucoa laughs.
Lucoa: That could be it, but you know as well as I do when that dragon speaks everyone listens.
Irene: Yeah. Whatever. Anyways I'm done with my preparations for tomorrow so I'm going to bed.
Natsu is heading to his room that he shares with Irene when he spots his queen and pulls her to the side.
Natsu: Irene?
Irene: what is it?
Natsu: I wanted to talk to you
She looks around them grabs his hand and takes him to their room. She quickly puts a barrier so that no one not even Lucoa can listen in on them.
Irene: Is it about how I know Lucoa?
Natsu: Yeah..
She sighs as she passes both her hands through her hair. She takes a seat on the bed then looks at her king.
Irene: It was by chance honestly. There's a lot of things I did while I was with Selene. Things I regret, and things I never wanted to speak about and this is one of them. It happened before I met you, when I was younger. Selene had ordered me to go and get rid of some dragons that were annoying her. Those dragons ended up being Lucoa's parents. Due to there whole peaceful thing, and not wanting to fight back no matter what, it was easy to kill them but it wasn't the right thing to do. Of course at the time I wasn't going to speak up against Selene she was stronger then me so I followed her orders without question. But little did I know that when I went to kill her parents Lucoa would be present. Since then I've been trying to make admin's for everything I've done in my past.
Natsu cuffs her face with his hands making her look up at him.
Natsu: You've corrected all of your wrongs Irene. There's no need to continue feeling guilty for the past. I know it's hard for you to talk about things like this but I thank you for having the trust of telling me.
She smiles knowing how understanding he is.
Irene: I just don't trust her fully
Natsu: Neither do I. Don't worry you aren't the only one. We'll figure something out we always do.
Irene: Yeah you're right.
They kiss and Natsu lets her know he'll be going to grab some water before bed. As he steps outside his room he sees Lucoa standing near another door.
