Chapter 70: Time Flows

It felt so real. I felt the warmness coming from the place I was heading to. I could see nothing but pure white. I thought to myself at that moment. "Have all my sins been forgiven?" "Could I really be joining Hotaru?" That's when I heard her voice speak to me.

Hotaru: It's not your time yet little sister.

I woke up and I was inside this tank. I could see Mira looking over some papers and moving her mouth but I couldn't tell what she was saying. I fell asleep again shortly after and once more I heard Hotaru speak to me.

Hotaru: You've suffered enough DiMaria. Loosing your parents, your home, your closest friends. You've lost it all and gained power out of it. It's not my place to say but I wish I could've been as strong as you. Nothing affected you, not even the blood of others. With all that said, you have a new life ahead of you. A life of peace, a life of making new friends and going on adventures. A life of love and perhaps even having a family of your own. Who ever is the guy that ends up with you will be one lucky person. Or it can a she, doesn't matter just as long as you're happy. Your future kids will be strong just like their mother, and kind like her too. So please DiMaria, don't give up on life yet, enjoy it while you still can, and when the time comes I will be hear waiting for you so you can tell me all about it.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was Hotaru's voice. It felt unreal. Someone who I considered my own sister, and who died in my arms spoke to me from the afterlife.

DiMaria: I'll do it! I'll live on for you Hotaru!

I yelled out. That's when I opened my eyes and the first person I saw was you Natsu. You were sitting next to me as was Mira. At first I was confused.

DiMaria: I'm...I'm alive? How?

Mira: Hey take it easy, you were pretty beaten up. I know Natsu can get a bit out of control at times but we healed you to the best of our abilities. Just one thing, Who did this to you?

DiMaria: I...it was...

At that time I don't know why but when I was about to say Tsukuyomi's name a stinging sensation in my head went off causing me to stop talking. I guess it was a countermeasure so that her existence wouldn't be jeopardize.

Mira: It's okay you don't have to tell us if you don't want to.

I'm not sure if you remember Natsu but that night you said-

Natsu: Who ever did this to you will pay. I swear on it!

You were so sure about you're statement I believed you. But I knew that it would be impossible to find her. You later explained to me that I was barley alive when you found me. That's when you two told me how I came to be.

DiMaria: A...a demon..?

Mira: Yeah...it was the only way to save you. When ever Natsu or myself get into intense battles and we are badly injured we go into these tanks and our injuries are all healed. It doesn't come without its after effects. So please don't be to hasty on moving just yet.

Natsu: To be more specific you are now an Etherious demon like us. Mira and I use regular magic but when we enter into our Etherious form, our power becomes a curse.

I was lost at everything you were telling me. A curse? Demon? I had no idea what you meant.

Natsu: Unlike magic some people can counter it and fight us off. But curses are a different story.

Mira: A curse is something we basically were given by misfortune. For example myself. My magic is take over magic. But to be more precisely my magic is take over-Satan Soul.
