After defeating the three Factions once more. Natsu and the rest of his friends have gone into hiding. After hearing it out of his own mouth Rias does as she was told. Having taking over the underworld becoming a great Satan, she did just that. But...
Zeref leans in taking a closer look at what Invel is going over. He lets out a soft sigh.
Zeref: It's good of you to go over our enemy. But you also have to know that not everything goes as you planned.
Invel: But sir, I'm second in command, I'm the general of the Spriggan 12. If I don't have a strategy and come up with a plan of attack those buffoons won't know what to do.
Zeref chuckles.
Zeref: calling August and your own sister a buffoon?
Invel: No. I know August is strong on his own. My sister as well. But it's always good to be prepared and have up to five different plans in case the first four fail.
Zeref: what about the last one?
Invel looks at Zeref confused.
Zeref: what if your fifth and final plan fails? What then?
Invel: I...I don't know..
Zeref: There's your answer. When things do not go as you planned it's always good to go off instinct. Don't relay on your strategies so much and go more with instinct. Sometimes your own instincts can get you a victory.
Invel opens his eyes, after having a small flash back of a conversation he had with Zeref. He looks straight across from him. The man standing across from him is the one man, who Invel himself placed a rule for. "Flee on sight". E.N.D
E.N.D: You know now that I've calmed down. I can finally think clearly.
Invel doesn't say a word. He simply looks at E.N.D who has his hands in his pockets.
E.N.D: what I mean is I can reflect back on all the damage and destruction I caused. The thousands of dead bodies at my feet. The destruction of an already destroyed island. The smell of blood and the sounds of bones being crushed by my own hands. Music to my ears.
He says smirking while looking at Invel.
E.N.D: But don't worry, the people of this wonderful island are safe and alive. If I where to hurt them I wouldn't hear the end of it. But I did collect a few trophies along the way.
A small dark shadow like portal opens up right next to Natsu. He sticks his hand inside and pulls out all of his trophies he has collected.
E.N.D: I believe some of these where your men?
Invel's eyes widen seeing all of the heads collected by E.N.D. He looks back at him seeing an evil smirk on his face, mocking the winter general.
E.N.D: what's wrong? Where they your comrades?
Invel raises two finger up near his face sending multiple ice spears at him.
