Chapter 53: The Curse Gods Fear

It was the middle of the night, the entire prison is silent. Most of the inmates are asleep, while others who are awake are reading books, wondering how life is outside of jail, or just looking up into the ceiling. Natsu was one of those inmates staring into the ceiling. He was captured by Zeus, a god who along with his comrades Hera, Aphrodite, Athena, Ares, Hades, Poseidon and Artemis all planned to get Natsu captured and be locked away. In order to achieve that many things had to be put into place. One of them was to capture proof of Natsu using his magic. Once the proof was captured the trap could be set. That trap was to either get Nastu to fight out in the open or injure one of his clan members. Unfortunately Wendy ended up being poisoned by a brand new form of toxin that neither Wendy nor Natsu can fight off. Due to that Natsu was forced to travel back North in hopes to get a cure if he appeared in front of Zeus. Once more that's what the god of thunder wanted. With Natsu there Zeus exposed him and everyone else. Those who can wield magic and those of the supernatural. With that in hand and the proof of Natsu using his magic the humans and everyone watching around the country turned on him. Right underneath there noses where people who can kill anyone with a single spell or rob a bank, hypnotize anyone to do there bedding or worse. But what they didn't know is that Natsu has saved them countless times. From disasters that didn't make it to the news because he knew it would cause a panic if it got revealed. He defeated gods, dragons, even ended a war in a single day. All of that just to keep the humans safe, to keep his clan safe. Natsu witnessed first hand how people can be swayed the wrong way and turn against you. All of those thoughts played over and over again in his mind like a broken record.

E.N.D: She's next to us..

Acnologia: Why?! Why is she here?!

Grandine: Does she think she can stop us?

Igneel: Foolish human.

Natsu is suddenly awaken by the voices in his head. He looks around seeing the dark room and hearing the footsteps of the guards passing by checking in on the prisoners. He looks to his right and sees Anna cuddled up next to him. He smiles, gently getting up from bed and heading towards the sink. He splashes water on his face and looks at himself in the mirror. He notices his eyes haven't changed. But he does notice some scales around his neck. He hears some shuffling so he looks again towards the bed and sees Anna moving position. He notices the similarities to Lucy which causes him to smile.

Natsu: It's like looking at an older version of Lucy.

He decides to lay back down next to Anna and falls asleep rather quickly. Having fallen deep in sleep Natsu begins to have a dream. In this dream he sees all of Northern Japan in flames. He looks around and sees the piles of dead bodies laying everywhere. The smell of rotten corpses and blood fill the air. He hears a loud explosion which he decides to walk towards it. Upon arriving he sees what looks like himself with three others. But those three are shadows who's scent he can't pick up or see who they are. But what he does manage to see are the Greek Gods standing just several feet from him. A cold chill suddenly runs down Natsu's spine. He normally doesn't get cold but this time he shivered. His eyes widen feeling the eerie presences. He looks behind him and sees Acnologia walking towards himself. He sees Acnologia lean into his ear and whisper something to him. Suddenly the atmosphere it self changed. He sees his mother and father standing next to him also whispering something to his ear, this time the pressure got heavy and the ground began to shake.

Natsu: What...what is going on?!

Acnologia: The blood of a dragon.

He hears Acnologia say. He turns around not seeing the dragon.

Igneel: You have it, our blood, and now his.

Grandine: Use it! Use our power and kill everyone here! They poisoned Wendy and lied to your face saying they had a cure.
