After defeating the three Factions once more. Natsu and the rest of his friends have gone into hiding. After hearing it out of his own mouth Rias does as she was told. Having taking over the underworld becoming a great Satan, she did just that. But...
With the return of God Serena back from the dead, due to Neinhart's magic. Things just became a lot more difficult for Rangiku and Isane. Not only do they have to face hundreds of corpses that when defeated they just come back to life. But now they also have to face the man who self proclaimed is loved and blessed by the dragon gods themselves. Their only hope of defeating such an enemy is by taking out Neinhart in order for his ability to wear off. Meanwhile just a few miles from the Fairy Tail guild, Zeref has finally been able to locate what he is looking for. The ultimate power he's been searching for. The Lumine Histore, the Fairy Heart. Inside the guild Mavis and Makarov along with others of the guild are overlooking the battles on a screen that has all of their members fighting across the island as well as other guilds who have lend their hands in order to protect their homes. Mavis has become a bit worried because she can't sense Natsu. She fears the worst has happened to him. Because of this she nearly faints and is taken to the infirmary room in order to rest. Makarov and the others in the guild worry that due to the stress of this war, Mavis has become fatigued. But after some rest and a bite to eat Mavis is back on her feet and has rejoined her guild mates at the main hall.
Makarov: Master Mavis, you should be resting.
Mavis: I appreciate your concern Master Makarov. But my duty is here, with you and everyone else in the guild.
Makarov: Hard headed lady.
He says underneath his breath. But he has no other choice but to allow Mavis to rejoin them. They go over a few plans Mavis has come up with while in the infirmary and relays the plan out to those out in the field. When she's finished she takes a sip of water she had sitting next to her and looks towards the screen displaying all of Southern Japan. She stares at it for a few minutes. She stares at one specific area of the map where it is empty, no civilians, no near by structures, and no wizards fighting or protecting that area. Suddenly a red dot flashes on the screen. A few seconds later it flashes again, then again, and again until it has completely stopped flashing and remains a solid light. Her eyes widen as she comes to the realization that someone from the enemy side has made there way to the guild.
Mavis: Everyone!
But before she can say anything else everyone is frozen in time.
Mavis: Guys...?
She asks wondering what is going on. She walks up to a few of her guild mates waving her hand in front of them but nothing.
Mavis: Warren? Master Makarov? Guys...!
It's all for nothing. No one is answering her and no one is moving. A sudden chill creeped up her spine causing the hairs on the back of her neck to stand up.
???: I should've known you would've kept it somewhere no one would bother to look.
This eerie voice made her freeze and tense up. She recognizes the voice, and did not expect this person to show up right on her doorstep. Mavis turns around and sees the person she did not want to come into contact with.
Mavis: It's you....Zeref!
Zeref: Mavis.
