Chapter 60: Time is all I have.

DiMaria slowly opens her eyes seeing the ceiling. She moves her head slowly to the right and sees the sun peeking over the horizon. She turns to her right and sees her oldest friend Brandish still sound asleep. She looks up to the ceiling and begins to think to herself.

DiMaria: Why did I dream about that? That was so long ago, why did I think about it now?

She gets up from bed and heads to the bathroom. Once she's done, she goes to brush her teeth and takes a look at her self in the mirror. She lowers her shirt a little seeing her dragon mark softly glowing.

DiMaria: Time goddess, such a stupid name...Only Natsu cause me that, even so he only uses it when trying to make a grand entrance. That dummy.

She says giggling.

DiMaria: he always calls me by my name...everyone does, even Randi, but she calls me Mari..only....they call me that. But why would I dream about something that happened so long ago? I was exiled from the counsel and stripped of my powers but I somehow managed to keep them. Could it had been Chronos who chose me to be its wielder? Or could it had been Natsu allowing me to join him all those years ago..

She finishes using a towel to wipe her face. Karameel and Griselda say good morning to her as she says it back and takes a seat on the sofa, turning the tv on to the news. But her mind is still filled with questions and she looses attention of what's going on.

DiMaria: Dreams like this one aren't normal...they usually mean something. But what?

Mira: Good morning everyone !

Karameel and Griselda: Good morning !

Mira makes her way to where DiMaria is and wraps her arms around her catching DiMaria by surprise.

Mira: You're up early? That's weird.

DiMaria doesn't say anything she's lost in thought.

Mira: DiMaria?

DiMaria: huh? Oh! Morning Mira..

She's a bit confused by her attitude as DiMaria usually sounds a bit more happy in the mornings.

DiMaria: how's Wendy?

Mira: she's doing okay..seems like the medication isn't really having the same effect as before.

DiMaria: and with Natsu captured by the go...-

She stops as she was about to say gods.

Mira: DiMaria?

DiMaria: huh?

Mira: Are you sure you're okay? You seem a bit off.

DiMaria: It's just..I had a weird dream.

Mira: what did you dream about?

DiMaria: About something that happened before I joined you guys.

Mira: You mean...

DiMaria: Yeah, about them...Even though I got exiled years ago this is the first time I dream about them.

Mira: In our line of work, dreams like those aren't just dreams. They usually mean something.

DiMaria: yeah...I know...Do you think it has something to do with Natsu?

Mira: Could be. Do you think it has something to do with only Brandish and I knowing about your past? Maybe your guilty conscious is trying to tell you something.
