Chapter 43: Destiny Is Here

The day finally came in which Natsu and his group would take on Acnologia, in a rematch. This battle means more then just dragon on dragon. This battle is for everyone Acnologia has hurt or killed, for the death of Atlas, injuring the dragon twins, Gajeel and Laxus. For the injured ones Natsu didn't know about including Issei, Kiba and Brynhildr. For the countless lives he took. Acnologia was a far better fighter then any of the younger dragons, experience, battle hardened, the ability to wield any type of magic. The only other people with that much experience in fighting are Natsu and Irene. For the six dragons, Wendy, Lucy and Erza. This will be one of the fights that they will have to be extremely careful.
Wendy being Grandine's daughter doesn't want to be left behind like she was during the first battle between Acnologia and Natsu. Natsu knows better then to deny his sister a chance to fight. It also works for everyone if Wendy is fighting because she can fight and heal anyone who is injured during the battle. And so the sun began to rise over the mountains, letting its ray of light touch everything around it. Everyone woke up and got ready, they all had a nice breakfast. They all ate plenty as they would need all of the energy. Unfortunate for DiMaria who wanted to join the battle, along with her and Brandish are staying behind to watch over the hideout. With Ena, and Miyu now staying there and with things how they are between the people and government, they need the extra hands to watch over everything while Natsu is gone. But those two won't be alone they have Griselda and Karameel who with her archive magic. She will be able to tell when something isn't right, as the previous night she was able to hack into the military's radio station and can now monitor there every move.
Everyone gathers in the center of the living room as a magic circle appears beneath everyone's feet. They all say there goodbyes before the light consumes them and they are immediately taking to the outskirts of Sun Village where the fight will take place. For the time being as they await for Acnologia Nanami and the others wanted to know what would be the plan.

Nanami: I know you said you had a plan. But I would like to know what this plan is?

She says as Natsu turns around and looks at everyone behind him.

Natsu: It's nothing to complicated. It's very simple. Wendy will lead the group of Nanami, Kyouko, Isidore, Kardama, Kiyomi and Hitome.

Kardama: You're letting your sister fight? I thought she would just be the healer?

Natsu: Trust me she's much better when she's out there. If any of you get hurt or injured just call out. Wendy will heal you. As for the second team that I would be leading. Lucy, Erza and Irene. You guys would be with me.

Kyouko: okay, that explains the teams. But it still doesn't explain the plan?

Natsu: It's simple. None of you here except for Irene can match Acnologia in speed and strength. While we do have the numbers advantage. He has the experience of how to handle multiple enemies coming at him all at once. So it's simple. I want all of you to focus on attacking. Leave the defending to me.

Hitmoi: what? How would that help?

Irene: It helps a lot to be honest. If you guys just focus on attacking then you won't waist so much of your magic power on defending. On the other hand Natsu has tons of magic reserves that could allow him to fight longer then any one of you, and Wendy isn't far behind.

Everyone looks at Wendy who smiles innocently.

Nanami: So we will be the spear while Natsu would be the shield.

Natsu: Yup. Irene will serve as our backup if things don't go as planned.

Natsu looks at Irene.

Natsu: This time if you get the chance kill him.

Irene: Right.

After going over the plan, everyone waited patiently for the arrival of Acnologia. It got to a point where the younger dragons began to get anxious.
