Hi, I'm Y/n Snape, yes, Severus Snape's Wife. We have been married for five years, we have two kids, a four-year-old daughter named Alison and a three-month-old son named Walter. None of his students knows Severus is married or that he has kids, so during the school term, the kids and I live at Spinners End and Severus visits us on the weekends and holidays.

This year Hogwarts is hosting a legendary event called The Triwizard Tournament, this tournament brings three of the biggest magical schools in the world Baubatons, Durmstrang and Hogwarts. Three champions one from each school is selected to compete in three competitions.  Something had gone wrong and a fourth Champion was chosen, but that isn't our story.

This tournament required all staff to remain at Hogwarts, so no home visits not even for Christmas, because of this Severus had missed the birth of our son Walter who was born in October, Severus had only seen photos of him.

That brings us to a couple days ago. Albus felt bad for making Severus miss the birth, so he invited us to spend Christmas at Hogwarts. I was unsure for a while, but Alison missed her dad so much and I wanted Severus to meet Walter before he started crawling.

So this morning I had gotten up early, packed our bags, woke Alison and put Walter in his stroller and caught the Knight Bus to Kings Cross. We got on the train and found a compartment. We were the only ones on the train.

Alison had been a ball of energy the entire time which had woken and kept Walter awake the entire ride. When we got to Hogsmeade station instead of taking a carriage I decided to walk. Alison skipped along beside me the entire time.

As we got to Hogwarts, I pick Alison up and push the stroller down the halls to the dungeons where Severus' office was.

I knock gently waiting for a response.

"Come." Came Severus' voice.

"Suprise!" I say pushing the door open and placing Alison down on her feet allowing her to run in and over to her father.

"Y/n? Alison? What are you doing here?" Severus walks around the desk to scoop Alison up.

I maneuver the pram inside and shut the door behind us.

"Albus felt bad you weren't able to come home for Christmas, so he invited us to come to you. No one even needs to know we are here." I say walking over to pull him into a hug.

"My beautiful girls." He mumbles into my hair holding us close.

"Don't forget your little man." I say walking over to the pram to grab Walter out.

"Walter... He is even more gorgeous in person." He takes Walter from my arms.

I pick up Alison instead. Kissing her cheek as she giggles.

"They both are, those photos really don't do them justice." I tell him.

"Daddy, I'm hungry!" Alison tells him.

"You're hungry? You've done nothing but eat sweets for the last several hours!"

"That's sweets not food Mummy!" She sasses.

Severus laughs.

"Let's get my Princess something to eat then." He takes my hand and leads us out of his office.

"Where are we going Sev? Isn't your chambers the other way?" I ask confused.

"Great Hall obviously. It's dinner time." He chuckles.

"But... I thought..." He stops walk9ing turning to face me.

"That I'd hide you and the kids away? That now you're finally visiting me at work I'm going to pretend the best parts of me don't exist?" He gives me a look.

"When you put it like that." I smirk and press my lips to his.

"Eww, Mummy and Daddy kissing." Alison giggles as she holds her brother's hand.

I laugh.

"Your daughter!" I poke Severus in the chest.
