(Ghost of the Forest P.O.V (Marauders era))

Where my story left off, James Potter, Gryffindor Seeker, and troublemaker had found me hiding in the forest where I had gone unnoticed for years, known only as the Ghost of the Forest.

So much has happened since that day! I refused to leave with him at first, so he would bring his friends out whenever they could, bringing food and clothes. It was nice having people to talk to again, so after a couple of weeks, the boys finally convinced me to head up to the castle and speak to Headmaster Dumbledore.

It was weird walking through the grand halls of Hogwarts while students flocked to their next class or out to the gardens. I had only visited the castle late at night when Hogwarts was asleep or while everyone was on holidays. I would visit at times that made Hogwarts feel empty, abandoned, but now in the midst of hustle and bustle the castle felt more alive.

I could feel the stares of the students as they passed me, I heard the whispers about the girl with torn dirty robes. My dirty unkept appearance made me stick out like a sore thumb.

Upon our arrival at the Pheonix statue, anxiety hit me like a truck. My instincts were to run, but James held my hand, stopping me from running.

The others waited at the bottom while James accompanied me to the grand Office.

"Headmaster Dumbledore! This is..." James started but was interrupted.

"The Ghost of the Forest... Y/n Y/l/n." My brow frowned in confusion, questions running through my head.

How did he know? Did he know the whole time? Why did he never come looking for me? Why did he not he tell my parents? So many questions ran through my head.

"H... how the hell???" I stammered out the only words that formed.

"I noticed the boys venture into the forest, I heard the singing, and I saw you two and your friends, Mr. Lupin, Mr. Black, and Mr. Pettigrew, make your way up here. You have hardly changed since that day, Y/n. Your Mother is already on her way." I stumbled back, I do not know if I am ready to face my parents.

"What about my father?" My head was spinning but when I finally registered what he said worry ran through my head, had they divorced? Had something happened to him? Was it my fault?

"I have sent your mother and father a Patronas, to inform them that you have returned safely to Hogwarts. I am sure they will be here soon." Hang on so he sent word to my parents, but my mother is on her way... no... it can't be... not after all this time.

(Ellie Trenadi's P.O.V. (Golden Trio's era))

While I will miss Hogwarts and everything it has brought me, Keythrose was my home, and it was time to return.

The Halls of Hogwarts were empty, students had gone home for the holidays, any that had chosen to stay behind were off enjoying the sun at Hogsmeade. As I change from my Hogwarts robes into my Gown and Tiara I prayed there would be no students roaming the halls. While all the professors knew who I am, none of the students do and it would be hard to explain away the extravagant gown and tiara.

The Professors had looked out for me during my time back on Earth, today was no different. Professor McGonagall stood outside my room, keeping guard, and when it came time for me to leave, we walked together through the halls of Hogwarts.

As we walk through the halls of Hogwarts portraits stare, some bow and curtsy as I go past. I smile at each one of them. As we pass one of the windows I look out across the grounds, the sun reflecting off the Black Lake.
