Dottore reached up to his face.
I was staring very intensely.
He grabbed onto the mask and ever so slowly he took it off.
My nails dug into my arms as I waited with anticipation.
The first thing I saw were his eyes. Just as I expected they were staring directly back into mine.
My breathing had stopped as I watched him take the rest of it off.
His hand dropped with the mask in it.
I could see his face clearly now.
"Now do you see why it was so easy for me to attract the ladies?"
His eyes were such a beautiful red and the rest of his face was even better. So smooth and clean. Yet his eyes looked so tired. If you looked closely you could see all the horrors those eyes must have witnessed.
"Yes."
Dottore eyes widened and after a few seconds so did my own.
That was not an outside thought.
SHIT!
I slapped a hand over my mouth and Dottore began cackling.
"Ill take that to mean you don't think I look like a hilichurl anymore."
My face must have been as red as his eyes now.
"Shut up!" I shouted embarrassed.
Dottore only smiled.
Not his usual scary grin but a genuine smile.
It made my heart melt a bit.
I was happy to see him smile though. It wasn't often that Dottore acted some what normal. Not to mention he barely showed any other expressions aside from anger or over confidence.
