By the time the morning had arrived I was exhausted.
Capitano had entered my room to drag me out.
I had no idea how long we stayed up but it was too long. How he remained unaffected was beyond me.
"Come on Y/N."
He closed the door to my room as I rested my head on the windows ledge.
I ignored him closing my eyes. So sleepy... Just a little longer... Who needs me anyway...
Something warm brushed against my waist and I tried to ignore it.
"Y/N." Capitano said a little sterner and closer.
I mumbled a few things but still ignored him anyway.
He let out a sigh, "She won't be pleased about this. I apologize."
Something soft wrapped around me and my body was lifted up.
I blinked my eyes open.
My body began to sway and as my eyes opened I realized I was in the air.
"Oh."
I looked down.
I could see the floor.
Looking back up again I realized that Capitano had grabbed me and using one hand he held me at his side and dragged me out of the room.
"Wait."
He was able to keep me up with one hand carrying me like I was a feather.
"I'm awake I'm awake!" I said in a bit of a panic.
Capitano nodded his head leaving the room while still holding me.
Heads turned as he walked down the hall. My face was a bright red as I began to squirm around.
"You win you win!" I squealed.
Capitano laughed at my struggles and by the time we had reached a door he finally put me down.
"Good morning."
I dusted my clothes off my face still red, "Good morning." I mumbled.
"I apologize, but the Tsaritsa has requested an audience with us. It appears she has the mission prepared."
I nodded my head.
"Err how early is it?"
"Its 8am."
Oh oh man okay thats not that early.
Thats actually pretty reasonable. Ops...
"Are you ready?"
I nodded again.
Capitano pushed the doors to the room open and inside was the same throne room I had previously been in.
This was a side door.
Capitano stepped in first and I followed after him as we approached her throne.
The Tsaritsa sat on her throne with a few pages of paper in hand. She seemed to be reading them over before she acknowledged our presence.
"Good morning your majesty." Capitano said with a polite nod.
"Good morning." She replied setting the papers down on her lap.
She glanced over at me but I remained silent.
"Your next mission is ready. I do hope you won't disappoint me."
She handed the paper out and Capitano took them.
He looked over the papers reading them thoroughly.
"There is no room for failure. Find the device and bring it to me personally."
"Device?" I whispered.
"Yes." Capitano replied.
He handed me the papers and I began to read through them.
Our mission was to retrieve a device the abyss had just obtained. It didn't exactly state what this device did but it seems whatever it was it would be essential to her plans.
The last known location was deep in the mountains of Snezhnaya. She had some people tailing them but once the abyss had caught on they changed plans and went into hiding.
"So what does this device do exactly?" I asked out of curiosity.
"There is no need to worry yourself over a question like that. Retrieve it and do nothing more. Do not under any circumstances activate it." She said sternly.
I looked over at Capitano who only nodded in understanding.
What exactly was she planning...?
"Your dismissed. Do not return empty handed."
I returned the papers to Capitano after looking over them once more and he motioned for me to head toward the door we had come in.
I walked with him following close behind me.
"Shes pretty cold." I whispered when the doors closed shut behind us.
Capitano took a moment to respond, "She is a kind woman. She just cannot show it anymore."
I didn't respond to that.
After all I knew nothing of her. What could I say?
The two of us walked in silence until we reached another room.
Capitano opened the door to the same office from yesterday, "Let us prepare, then we shall head out."
