Y/N's POV:

"How're you holding up?" Jimin asks, sliding you some wine.

"They don't know who I am or what my face looks like so I'm fine," you shrug. "But people online are going crazy."

"Wasn't that restaurant supposed to be safe?" Kai asks. "How did a picture get released?"

"It was outside of the building," Yoongi sighs, sitting down next to you. "We should've been more careful but there was so much security everywhere I thought it would be fine."

"I'm sure it'll be fine," Namjoon says before taking a sip of his beer. "We have an entire department dedicated to fighting against scandals and protecting our employees, they'll handle it."

After your meeting with Mr. Song, Namjoon invited you and Yoongi over along with Kai, Jimin, Hoseok, and Jungkook. He actually asked everyone but the other members are busy right now and might come over later. Yoongi was initially supposed to grab dinner with his parents but decided it's best to reschedule once things calm down.

Right on time, everyone's phones go off with a new announcement from BigHit Entertainment, making your heart leap into your throat. Yoongi places his chin on your shoulder to read with you.

This is Big Hit Entertainment

There's a viral photo circulating online of BTS's Suga and an unidentified woman holding hands outside a steakhouse in Canada. The woman in the photo is a staff member for Hybe, and has no romantic relationship with Min Yoongi. He was there on business and the photo taken without consent is quite misleading.

Your brows raise when a few photos of you next to Kai, Namjoon, and Jimin pop up as well, but yours and Kai's faces are blurred in each one.

In the photos above, you will see Namjoon and Jimin of BTS in attendance as well, along with another staff member who is male. They were all abroad for official business with a Canadian artist who will be disclosed at a later date.

The company does not take these issues lightly, and will be pressing charges against the individuals who sold the misleading photo to the press. In addition, we extend our gratitude to all fans abroad who respect our artists' privacy and continue to show unwavering support.

"Damn," Kai chuckles. "The devil works hard but the company works harder. When did they even get these?"

"Probably from surrounding surveillance cameras," Namjoon says. "All they need is one or two videos to make it look credible."

"Army's already tearing the press up online," Hoseok snickers, scrolling through the bird app. "God I love them."

"Will this solve things?" you ask, looking at Yoongi.

"It should," he nods, wrapping his arm around your shoulder. "Of course, people will still be suspicious and say it's an excuse but most people will believe us."

"Do you feel bad for lying to your fans?" you ask, making his brows raise.

The room gets a little quiet and Yoongi looks down at his lap, pensively trying to think of his answer. "I mean, I do wish I could be honest with them," he sighs. "But it's my personal business. No one is allowed to know things I'm not ready to tell."

"It's kind of like Jimin's situation," Jungkook says, turning your attention to him. "He's gay but isn't ready to come out to his fans yet. It's not so much about lying as it is about being mentally prepared to tell the world."

"Exactly," Yoongi nods. "One day I'll get to tell the world about you. But that needs to be my decision, not someone else's."

"Good," you grin. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
