Slow Dancing (kit walker)

I put some food in a pan and stir it around while i wait for my husband kit to be home he should be home any minute now

I hear the door knob jingle and unlock and i hear kit walk in take off his shoes and i feel arms wrap around me and i smile as he kisses my shoulder and i turn my head to him "hi" i say as he rests his head on my shoulder "hey" he says kissing my neck a couple times

"The foods almost done" i say putting one of my hands over his arms that are wrapped around my waist while my other hand stirs the food in the pot

"M'kay ms walker" he says making me smile more and i turn my head kissing the side of his face softly and he smiles slightly before walking away to go change and i finish making the food taking it off the stove and kit walks back out of out room with his regular clothes on

I set some plates down onto the table putting some food on the plates and we sit down our chairs close as usual and we eat our food talking to each other about our days and all the people kit had to deal with and all the work he had to do and what i did at home

After eating i put the dishes in the sink to soak and i wash my hands before turning back to kit who's messing with the radio after a minute he finds his favorite station and 'there goes my baby by The Drifters' comes on and kit turns to me smiling

He puts his hand out to me "may i?" He asks and i smile taking his hand "yes you may" i say and he pulls me close to him his hands on my waist my hands on his shoulders as we dance to the beat and kit sings out the lyrics mentioning me as his 'baby' in the song and i smile more

I dance with him as he sings the song "there goes my baby" kit sings as he twirls me before pulling me close to him again making me laugh a bit 'was she just playing me for a fool' kit sings swaying me side to side again and i laugh again smiling bigger at my kit making him smile a bit too

'I just wanna tell her i loved her and that i need her by my side to be my guide' kit sings pointing his head at me saying that its me hes talking about i flush a bit a big smile still on my face as i mouth 'i love you' and he smiles pulling me close i lay my head on his shoulder smiling a bright smile as he sways us still singing every word

At the closing of the song i lift my head up and i grab his face kissing him softly and lovingly pulling him close and his arms close around my waist as i kiss him more smiling into the kiss slightly before he pulls away looking into my eyes still swaying the both of us "i love you too" he says and i smile giving him one last kiss

The song ends and i still stay in his arms no music holding him close me in the arms of the love of my lifes arms...
