Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
After a little bit of walking, the four trainers arrived to the entrance of Fuchsia City. "Yes! We're finally here!" Ashton exclaimed. King and Okotsu were even more excited than Ashton was. "Okotsu, let's go check out the Safari Zone!" King exclaimed. "Ok!" Okotsu said. "I'll go with you guys since it could mean adding more members to my team," Justin said. The three trainers walked off, leaving Ashton by himself.
"Well, why they're busy with that, I'm gonna go challenge the gym!" Ashton said with a grin. He walked down the streets until he saw a building and a sign that said "Fuchsia City Gym".
Ashton walked to the building and walked inside. Inside was a man dressed like a traditional Ninja meditating on the ground.

"Excuse me, are you the Gym Leader?" Ashton asked. The man opened his eyes and stood up. "Yes, I am. Are you here to challenge me?" The man asked. Ashton nodded. "Very well, young warrior. I am Koga, the Poison Type master! I shall beat you here to prove my point," Koga said. Ashton grabbed a Pokeball and threw it forward. "Go Mankey!" Ashton yelled.
Mankey came out and clashed it's fist together. "Ok then, go Weezing!" Koga said, throwing a Pokeball. A floating purple Pokémon with an extra head came out.

"Let's begin! Weezing, use Sludge Bomb!" Koga said. Weezing shot a ball of purple goo at Mankey. Mankey jumped back and ran at Weezing. "Mankey, use Mega Kick!" Ashton shouted. Mankey jumped at Weezing and started spinning really fast. Weezing tried to dodge, but was too slow. Mankey was close to Weezing and delivered a strong kick to its face. "Weezing, use Smokescreen," Koga said.
Weezing opened its mouth and a green gas came out, causing Mankey to start coughing. "Weezing, hit it with a Headbutt," Koga said. Using the smoke to advantage, Weezing flew at Mankey and slammed its head into Mankey. Mankey slid back and got really angry. The smoke cleared. Mankey ran and jumped at Weezing, put its fists together, and slammed them into the top of Weezings head. "Weezing, use Acid!" Koga said. Weezing shot a stream of purple goo at Mankey. Mankey dodged, but a little bit of the acid hit its left arm. Mankey tried to move its arm, but couldn't.
Mankey was furious and ran at Weezing again. It jumped up and kicked Weezing as hard as it could, sending it crashing into the back wall of the gym and making it faint.
