Episode 41: Justin Vs Elise!

Justin walked to the Battle Area and saw his opponent. It was a girl who was shorter than him. She had long black hair that went to her shoulders. She was wearing a Squirtle shirt and a Red hat.

The judge walked to the Battle Area. Justin and Elise grabbed a PokeBall and gripped it in their palms. "Hello everyone! Today we have the match between Justin, the trainer from Pallet Town vs Elise, the trainer from Celadon City!" The judge announced.

"Would both trainers please send out their first Pokemon?" The judge asked. "Don't hold back on me, Justin!" Elise shouted. Justin nodded. "Don't worry, I won't!" Justin said.

Justin and Elise threw their PokeBalls forward.  Justin sent out Onix and Elise sent out a Beedrill.

Ashton shuddered at the sight of a Beedrill. "What's wrong?" King asked. "Me and Justin have bad experience with Beedrill. We almost got killed by some when we were in Viridian Forest," Ashton said.

"Onix, use Tail Smash!" Justin shouted. Onix rushed at Beedrill and lifted it's tail. Onix slammed it down, sending Beedrill straight into the ground.

"Beedrill, use Poison Sting!" Elise said. Beedrill flew at Onix and tried to sting it with it's stingers, but Beedrill couldn't Peirce it's skin. "What?! How come Beedrill can't sting this thing?!" Elise exclaimed. "Easy. That's because Onix is a Rock type and it has rock hard skin!" Justin said.

"Now Onix, use Rock Blast!" Justin shouted. Onix slammed it's tail Into the ground, making a bunch of stone chunks. "(Why has everyone destroyed the ring so far?)" The judge thought.

Onix started grabbing stone chunks and throwing them at Beedrill. Beedrill started dodging them and break them with it's stingers, but eventually it got tired and got barraged by the stones. Beedrill crashed into the ground and fainted.

Elise called it back and grabbed her next PokeBall. "Go Pidgeot!" Elise yelled, throwing the PokeBall forward.

Pidgeot came out and squawked at Onix. "Pidgeot, use Aerial Ace!" Elise shouted. Pidgeot flew into the air and dive bombed into Onix. Onix was damaged by the attack, but it didn't do a lot of damage. "Onix, knock it out of the sky with your tail!" Justin yelled.

Onix started swinging it's tail at Pidgeot, but Pidgeot was flying around and dodging the tail. Onix got tired and stopped swinging it's tail. "Pidgeot, use Gust!" Elise said. Pidgeot flapped it's wing, causing a gust of wind to knock Onix over. Onix fell to the ground and fainted due to fatigue.

Justin called Onix back and grabbed another one. "Go Ninetails!" Justin yelled. He threw the PokeBall forward and Ninetails came out.

"A Ninetails, huh? The rumors are true, they really are so beautiful," Elise said. She looked at Ninetails with adoration before getting serious. "Ok Pidgeot, use Twister!" Elise yelled. Pidgeot flew around Ninetails really fast, causing a tornado to form.

The gust of wind in the tornado sent Ninetails flying into the air. "Pidgeot, use Aerial Ace while it's in the air!" Elise called out. Pidgeot flew at Ninetails and slammed into it.

Ninetails fell down and crashed into the ground. "Ninetails, use Flame Burst!" Justin shouted. Ninetails opened it's mouth and shot a giant flame at Pidgeot. Pidgeot was hit by the attack and fell out of the sky and crashed into the ground. "Pidgeot, use Gust!" Elise yelled.

Pidgeot flapped it's wings and a gust of wind flew at Ninetails, sending it flying back.

"It probably wasn't a good idea to send out his most inexperienced Pokemon," Ashton said. Okotsu and King looked at him with confusion. "What do you mean inexperienced?" King asked. "During the whole month when we trained, he only used Vulpix once and it evolved. He hasn't used it since," Ashton said.
