Ashton got to the waiting room and saw Toru and King talking. "Hey King! Good job on your match!" Ashton said. "Thanks Ash. I'm so excited to go to the finals," King said. "Hang on a minute guys," Toru said. Ashton and King looked at him with confusion.

"If there's three of us, doesn't that mean one of us won't battle in the next round? How are they gonna decide that?" Toru asked. "I don't know man. Maybe they'll say something about it soon," Ashton said. Right on cue, the intercom turned. "Would the three remaining contestants please make their way to the stadium?" The voice on the intercom asked.

"Let's go guys. I'm curious what they could want," Ashton said. They all walked out of the Waiting room and made their way to the Stadium. When they got there, they saw everyone in the stands, cheering for the three boys. They looked around and saw Justin, Okotsu, and Leaf. Ashton looked over and saw Ronnie and Mike wearing shirts that read "You can do it, Brat!" On them. Ashton sweat dropped at this. He saw his mom cheering and waving at him. Ashton smiled and waved back.

They got to the stage and stood in the middle of it. The judge walked on stage and walked in front of them. He turned and faced the crowd.

"Hello everyone! Welcome to the Semi Finals of the Kanto League Tournament! Standing in the arena today are our remaining contestants. All three of them have worked hard and pushed hard to get here and are now going to complete in the last rounds. Before we continue, would the three of you like to answer some questions for us?" The judge asked. The three boys nodded.

"Excellent! The fist question is this. If you were to lose your match, who would you root for in the finals?" The judge asked. He walked up to Toru and handed him the mic. "For me, I'd root for my friend Ash. Me and him have been friends since we were babies and we've always been like brothers. We've both always wanted to become Pokemon Masters. Ash is my best friend and I'll always root for him," Toru said. Everyone in the stands clapped at Toru's words. Ashton had a smile on his face.

Toru handed the microphone to Ashton. "For me, it would be hard to choose. Like Toru said, me and him have been friends since we were babies and we've grown up together. As for King, me and him have traveled all across the Kanto Region with our friends, Justin and Okotsu. He wants to become a Pokemon Master just as much as me and Toru. It would be hard to pick one over the other," Ashton said. The crowd clapped again.

Ashton handed the microphone to King. "I would root for Ash as well. When we first met, I thought he was one of the coolest people I've ever met and I still think that. I look up to him very much and he's one my biggest inspirations for becoming a Pokemon Master. If anyone deserves to become a Pokemon Master, it's him," King said. The crowd clapped loudly for the three boys. The judge walked up to King and King handed him the microphone.

"Thank you boys. Your answers were great. Now, as some of you have noticed, there's three contestants for the Semi Finals. The League hasn't been able to decide who will battle, so we'll need the help of all of you in the crowd. A bunch of pieces of paper should be going around with the three contestants names on them. Circle the two you'd like to see battle and then pass them to the workers. Once everyone has signed, we'll count the votes and the two with the most votes will battle," the judge said.

"Man, who do you want to battle?" Okotsu asked Justin. "I don't know yet. It's kinda a hard pick," Justin said. "What about you guys?" Okotsu asked Misty, Brock, and Blaine. "I want to see Ashton battle. The kid's interesting to me," Blaine said. "Same here. I love his battle spirit and determination," Brock said. "I'd like to see Ashton and King battle. They're both such great trainers," Misty said.

Eventually, everyone in the crowd voted for someone and the workers started counting the votes. After a couple minutes of counting, one of the workers walked out of the stands and to the judge. The worked whispered in the Judges ear and the Judge nodded. "We've got our votes and the two trainers who shall battle in the next round are Ashton and Toru. The winner of that battle will then battle King for the opportunity to battle the Champion," the judge said.

Ashton and Toru looked at each other and grinned. "Don't hold back on me Ash!" Toru said. "I wasn't planning on it! You'd better come at me with full strength too!" Ashton said. "Right, then both trainers go get your PokeBalls and then head back for your match," The judge said. The two boys nodded and ran out of the stadium and to the Trainer Plaza. King made his way to the stands and sat next to Okotsu and Justin. "I'm stoked, guys! I can't wait to battle the winner!" King said.

Ashton and Toru ran to their rooms and grabbed their PokeBalls. Ashton drank a bottle of water quicky and then made his way back to the stadium. He was excited for his battle against Toru.
