Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
Ashton and Justin walked into Viridian Forest and looked around. "Honestly, this place isn't as big as I thought," Justin said. Ashton was looking around when he heard a flapping and buzzing sound. "What's that?" He asked out loud. Justin listened closely and also heard the sounds. Suddenly, a stampede of bug Pokémon rushed by the two trainers.
They turned and saw a bunch of Bee-like Pokémon with spiky stingers flying towards them.

Ashton and Justin were confused for a moment, but then realized they were in trouble. "Oh crap, run Ash!" Justin yelled as they both started running. They kept running occasionally dodging tree branches and jumping over tree roots sticking out and tree logs. "What could have provoked them this much?!" Ashton yelled. Justin saw a bush and pulled Ashton into it. The Beedrill flew past them, but the two didn't leave until they couldn't hear buzzing and flapping anymore.
"That was way too close," Ashton said as they stood up and dusted themselves off. "Yea, if we were any slower, we could have been seriously injure or even killed," Justin said, catching his breath. That's when they realized they had an even worse problem.
"We're off the path, Ash. What do we do?" Justin asked. "Hmm" was all Ashton replied with. He looked around,hoping to see anything that could help them out of the forest. "I've got an idea," Ashton said as he took off his bag and placed it on the ground. Justin was confused, but wanted to see what Ashton would do. Ashton walked up to a really tall tree and started climbing it. "Oh you're gonna climb it? Well don't fall. You have a bad history of falling out of trees," Justin joked, thinking of all the times Ashton fell out of trees. "Ha ha, really funny," Ashton said sarcastically.
Ashton climbed higher and higher until he was at the top of the trees. He was able to look around and eventually saw the path. "Awesome!" He exclaimed as he climbed down really fast. "I found the path!" Ashton exclaimed as he jumped down once he was near the bottom and grabbed his bag. He ran towards the path, leaving Justin behind. "Really?" Justin said to himself.
"Almost there!" Ashton exclaimed as he ran faster and faster. He turned and slammed into somebody. "Watch where you're going, you brat!" Ashton heard a man yell. He looked up and saw two men. One had green hair and looked to be about 20 years old.
