King walked out of the stadium gate and to the Indigo Plateau building. He got to the waiting room and sat down, waiting for his friends. He looked up and sighed. "I can't believe that I've finally become the champion of Kanto," He said out loud.
He heard the door open and saw Ashton, Justin, Toru, Leaf, Okotsu, Misty, and Blaine walk in. "Hey King! Congrats on becoming Champion!" Okotsu said. "Yeah! That last battle was intense!" Toru said. King smiled at all his friends. "Thanks guys. I'm so glad that all of you were supporting me to the very end. The person I wanna thank the most is you, Ash. That speech you yelled really motivated me to keep fighting. I would've just given up if you hadn't yelled those things at me," King said.
"Of course King! When we met, you said you wanted to be the champion of Kanto and I wasn't gonna let you give up on your dream so easily," Ashton said. "Well, now that the tournament is over, what are you guys gonna do?" Brock asked. "I'm heading back to Pallet Town. Are you guys coming with me?" Ashton asked his friends.
All of the trainers from Pallet Town nodded. "Nah. I'm heading back to my gym at Cinnabar Island. It was nice seeing you again Ashton," Blaine said. "It was good seeing you again too Blaine. Sorry we didn't have time for that rematch," Ashton said. Blaine turned and walked out of the building. "I'm leaving too. The Pewter City Gym and my siblings back home need me. Goodbye you guys," Brock said, also walking out of the building.
"What about you Misty? You heading back to Cerulean City?" King asked. "Yeah. I'm sure there's a bunch of challengers waiting for me. Bye King. Bye everyone," Misty said with a smile. She walked up to King and kissed him on the cheek before walking out of the building.
"Right, well we should get going guys," Justin said. Everyone walked out of the building and started making their way to the closest city, which was Viridian City. "So, what are we gonna do now? The next Kanto Tournament is in five years and that's gonna take forever," Ashton said. "We could head to the different regions," Justin said.
"Hey that's a good idea, plus the other regions have lots of different Pokemon. The closest region is the Johto Region I believe," Toru said. "Hey, that's where Red was heading," King said. "Red's in the Johto Region? I wonder how he's doing," Ashton said.
They walked through the tunnel and down the path until they reached Viridian City. They walked to the exit and made their way to Pallet Town. After ten minutes of walking, they arrived in Pallet Town.
"It's feels good to be home. I guess we could start getting ready for the Johto Region," Justin said.
They were about to walk away when they heard someone ask them something. "Um excuse me. Are any of you people who go by the name Ashton and King?" A mailman asked. Ashton and King stepped forward towards him.
"Good. I have letters for the two of you," The mailman said. He reached in his bag and pulled out two envelopes and walked away. "Letters for us. Wonder who they're from," Ashton said. Ashton and King opened the letters and started reading them.
"Mines from Bill. He needs help at Cinnabar Island again," Ashton said. "Mines some type of invitation to an Island. Says they're inviting me because I'm the champion of Kanto and I can invite as many guests as I want," King said.
"Really? I think you should go," Leaf said. "Yeah. It sounds like it could be fun," Okotsu said. "Alright then, I'll go. I'm inviting all of you guys since you're my friends," King said. "Right! I'll make my way there once I'm done helping Bill out!" Ashton said.
"How will you find the Island?" Okotsu asked. "That's easy. My Pokedex can track other Pokedexs that were given from Professor Stewart. I'll be able to find you as long as Justin and Toru have their Pokedexs," Ashton said.
"Right! Well you should get going to Cinnabar Island. We'll meet you at the island. See ya Ash!" Justin said. "Right! See you later guys!" Ashton exclaimed. He turned and pulled out an Ultra Ball. "Go Zapdos!" Ashton said. He tossed the PokeBall and the legendary Bird came out. "Zapdos, fly me to Cinnabar Island!" Ashton said.
Zapdos nodded andet Ashton on it's back. It flew into the sky and started flying towards the sea and to Cinnabar Island.
Meanwhile, on the Island that the letter to King came from, two mysterious people were talking. "So, do you think the Kanto Champion is coming?" The figure in the shadows said. "Of course. He'll most likely bring his friends and once they all arrive, we simply trick them into thinking this is a fun Party and then we use your Power to control their Pokemon," The second figure said.
"Good. Get your grunts to act as Waiters and prepare lots of food. Don't mess this up Giovanni," The first figure said. A blue aura surrounded it and it's floated out of the shadows, revealing itself to be a tall white and purple humanoid Pokemon with a long tail.
"Of course. I won't fail you, Mewtwo," Giovanni said. He turned and walked out of the room, preparing to get his and Mewtwo's plan underway. What Mewtwo hadn't figured out yet was that Giovanni had a secret plan ready. "(Just you wait Mewtwo. Once you've been distracted by those Kids, I'll catch you and make you my Pokemon.)" Giovanni thought with a grin before walking out of the room.
End of episode
(With the Kanto League Tournament Arc finally wrapped up, I'd like to announce the final part of the Kanto Region Arc. A Mewtwo Movie! Of course, it's gonna take a very long time, but it'll be worth the wait. Until then, stay tuned.)
