Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
Ashton, Toru, Leaf, and Blastoise and Togepi arrived at the gym, which was in the middle of the city. They opened the door and walked inside. Inside were multiple people wearing white dojo outfits and were training their Pokemon. In the middle was a man with brown hair and a big brown mustache. He wasnt wearing a shirt, but was wearing what looks like a ripped red dojo outfit.

The man noticed Ashton, Toru, and Leaf. "Ah! Newcomers! Have you come to join my dojo?" The man asked. The three trainers shook their heads. "We're here to challenge the gym," Leaf said. "Ah I see. So you're challengers. So which one of you will be challenging me first?" The man asked. "Who wants to go first?" Leaf asked. "I'll go first!" Ashton said. He stepped forward and faced the man.
"So where's the gym leader? Or is it you?" Ashton asked. "You're correct. My name's Chuck and I'm the gym leader and a master of fighting types," Chuck said. "My name's Ashton and I'm gonna become a Pokemon Master!" Ashton said determinedly. "I like your determination! Let's hope you give me a good challenge!" Chuck said. "We'll be cheering you on, Ash!" Toru said. "Yeah! Do your best!" Leaf said.
"Right! I'm gonna beat you and get my next gym badge!" Ashton said. Chuck grinned and grabbed his first PokeBall. He threw it forward and a Primeape came out. "Let's do this, Ursaring!" Ashton said, throwing his PokeBall forward. Ursaring came out and roared loudly. "Let's do this Ursaring!" Ashton exclaimed. Ursaring turned around angrily and scratched Ashton's face. Everyone in the dojo flinched at this.
"Owowowowow! Why do you keep doing that! I'm your trainer!" Ashton screamed, while rolling on the floor and holding his face. Blastoise gently sprayed water on his face again. Primeape decided to use Ursaring's distraction to its advantage and rushed towards it. Primeape jumped in the air and punched Ursaring in the face, making it stumble back. Ursaring glared in anger and roared. "Ursaring, use Slam!" Ashton called out. Ursaring didn't listen and delivered a strong kick to Primeape.
"It's... Not listening to him," Leaf said. "That's odd. Ash is a great trainer. I thought every Pokemon would like him," Toru said. "Primeape, use Low Sweep!" Chuck called out. Primeape ducked and did a sweep kick, knocking Ursaring on it's back. "Now use High Jump Kick!" Chuck said. Mankey jumped into the air and landed it's foot on Ursaring's stomach.
Ursaring managed to get up and groan in pain. " Good job Primeape! Now use Punch Barrage!" Chuck said. Primeape rushed at Ursaring really quickly. "Ursaring, you gotta dodge!" Ashton called out. Ursaring didn't want to listen to the young man, but ducked anyway. Ursaring punched Primeape, sending it flying into the air and crashing into the ground. Ursaring walked towards Primeape and picked it up with one hand. Ursaring lifted Primeape above it's head and slammed it into the ground hard.
"Primeape, use Bullet Punch!" Chuck shouted. Primeape got up and rushed at Ursaring faster than it could see. Primeape punched Ursaring in the stomach, causing it to stumble back again. "Now finish it off with a kick!" Chuck said. Primeape jumped up and did a spin kick to Ursaring's face, making it stumble back in front of Ashton before falling on it's stomach and fainting. "Ursaring, no!" Ashton said.
"He didn't win because Ursaring wouldn't listen to him," Leaf said. Toru didn't say anything.
Ashton called Ursaring back to it's Pokeball and grabbed his next PokeBall. "Let's do this Quilava!" Ashton said, throwing the PokeBall forward. Quilava came out and growled loudly, causing flames to erupt from it's back. "Quilava, use Flame Charge and attack it!" Ashton said. Quilava nodded and screamed loudly, causing a flaming aura to erupt from it's body. It jumped at Primeape and punched it extremely hard, causing it to go flying backwards.
Quilava rushed behind Primeape before it could hit the ground and punched it into the air. Quilava jumped up and did a flip and kicked Primeape hard, sending it crashing into the ground. Primeape had fainted from the damage. Chuck called it back and grabbed his next and last Pokemon.
"That Quilava of yours is really strong! Let's see how it does against my ace Pokemon, Poliwrath!" Chuck said, throwing his PokeBall forward. A Poliwrath came out and smashed it's fist together. "We can do this Quilava! Just don't use any Fire Types moves and avoid it's water attacks and we're good!" Ashton said. "Quilava!" Quilava said.
"Poliwrath, use Aqua Punch!" Chuck called out. Poliwrath covered it's fist in water and ran at Quilava. Quilava ducked and kicked Poliwrath. "Now use Mega Punch!" Ashton called out. Quilava covered it's fist in an orange aura and punched Poliwrath. "Poliwrath, slam it!" Chuck said.
Poliwrath grabbed Quilava's arm and lifted it over it's head. Poliwrath yanked Quilava's arm down, slamming it into the ground. "Quilava, use Brick Break!" Ashton called out. Quilava lifted it's arm up and karate chopped Poliwrath's head. "Now hit it with another Mega Punch!" Ashton said. Quilava covered it's fist in an orange aura again and punched Poliwrath, sending it flying back.
Poliwrath landed in front of Chuck and fainted. "That was my last Pokemon, which means that you are the winner of this battle," Chuck said. "Awesome! We won! Good job Quilava!" Ashton exclaimed. "Quilava!" Quilava said happily.
Ashton called Quilava back to it's Pokeball and he and Blastoise walked to Chuck. "You and your Pokemon did well in that battle, though your Ursaring could use a little friendship trainer, but nevertheless, you won the battle and for that, I award you the Storm Badge," Chuck said, handing Ashton the gym badge.

Ashton accepted it and put it in his bag. "Right! Now will the next trainer step forward so we may begin the next battle. Leaf stepped forward and they began their match. Leaf used a Hoot hoot and a Chikorita and she won the battle. Leaf was given the Storm Badge and Toru stepped up. Toru used a Quagsire and his Dodrio and also won the battle. Toru was given the Storm Badge.
"I must say, you three are really strong. You have the potential to become great Pokemon Trainers. Tell me, are you participating in the Johto League?" Chuck asked. "Yep! I'm gonna train hard and win the league!" Ashton exclaimed. "Same here!" Toru exclaimed. "I'll also work hard!" Leaf said. "That's good to hear. I'm glad to know that there's gonna be some good spirited trainers competing in the Johto League," Chuck said.
"Well Chuck! We're gonna compete and show Johto that we're working hard to become Pokemon Masters!" Ashton said. Chuck smiled and turned around. "Then train hard. Don't ever give up and keep fighting til the very end. We'll meet again one day and hopefully I get the chance for a rematch. Until then, train hard," Chuck said. "Ok!" The three trainers said. They walked out of the gym and stood by the door for a while until they saw Justin and Okotsu walk down the street towards them.
"Oh. Hey guys!" Justin said. "Hey Justin. Did you get what you guys were coming here for?" Toru asked. "Yep. Now we're gonna battle the gym leader and get our badge. Did you guys get your gym badge?" Okotsu asked. "Yep! Right here!" Ashton said, showing them the Storm Badge.
"Alright then. We're gonna go in and challenge the gym. Are you guys gonna come watch?" Justin asked. "I'm gonna go let my Pokemon rest. They battled hard in that battle," Leaf said. "Same here," Ashton said. "Right. Well see ya later then," Okotsu said.
They both walked in the gym and Ashton, Blastoise, Togepi, Toru, and Leaf walked down the street and to the Pokemon Center.
