Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
(Before we start, yes I know the Power Plant is on route 10, but I didn't think it would make any since for them to leave Cinnabar Island and go there so I just put the power plant on Cinnabar Island. Moltres won't be in Victory Road like it was in Pokémon red and blue)
Ashton walked up to a berry bush and started picking some. He grabbed a case out of his bag and placed the berries in it. "I can make a smoothie out of these," Ashton said. Once he was done picking the berries, he put the case inside his bag. He looked in the distance and saw a huge grey building."what's that?" He asked, walking towards it.
There was a sign that said "Beware! Power Plant may attract Electric type Pokémon!". "Sounds fun!" Ashton said as he walked inside.
The air around him was cackling with a small amount of electricity, causing his hair to stand up a little. "Heh, I look like a mad scientist," Ashton said.
He saw a yellow humanoid feline-like Pokémon walk past him. He pulled out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon. It was called an Electabuzz.

"Guess I could catch some Pokémon while I'm here," Ashton said, grabbing a Pokeball. "Go Sandshrew!"
Sandshrew came out and sharpened its claws. "Sandshrew, use Rollout!" Ashton yelled. Sandshrew curled into a ball and rolled at Electabuzz. Sandshrew hit Electabuzz, sending it crashing into a wall. Electabuzz got up and shot a bolt of lightning at Sandshrew, but it didn't affect Sandshrew. "Now Scratch it!" Ashton yelled.
Sandshrew jumped at Electabuzz and scratched it. "Now use Samd Attack and Fury Swipes," Ashton yelled. Sandshrew sent dirt flying into Electabuzz's eyes and started scratching it over and over again. "Ok Sandshrew, jump back!" Ashton yelled as he grabbed an empty Pokeball. Sandshrew jumped back and Ashton threw the empty Pokeball at Electabuzz. The ball absorbed it and shook three times and glowed green. "Awesome! I caught an Electabuzz!" Ashton exclaimed.
He ran and grabbed Electabuzz's Pokeball. He started walking further into the Power Plant," Ashton said to himself. His hair was still standing, but it was standing up more and more the further he went. Ashton turned the corner and saw a Pokémon that looked like two magnets and had a huge eye in the middle of it.
