Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
Our heros were currently walking through New Bark Forest, currently heading to Cherrygrove City. They had been walking through the forest for five minutes. "Hey Justin, how much longer until we're out of this forest?" Ashton asked. Justin pulled out his Pokedex and looked at the map. "Five minutes. Then the field should take seven minutes to cross and then we'll arrive at Cherrygrove City," Justin answered.
They continued to walk when they heard something. "Hoot hoot!" They heard something from a tree branch say. They looked up and saw a brown owl Pokemon with red eyes and was standing on one foot and had the other one hidden.

"What Pokemon is that?" Okotsu asked. Ashton pulled out his Pokedex and scanned it.
"Hoot hoot, the owl Pokemon. It stands on one foot. It changes feet so fast, the movement can rarely be seen," The Pokedex said.
"So it's called a Hoot hoot. I wanna catch it," Justin said. The hoot hoot jumped down from the tree and started pecking at worms on the ground and eating them. It noticed Justin walking towards it with a PokeBall and got scared. "H-Hoothoot!" It shouted in a panic as it hopped away. "Hey come back!" Justin shouted as he chased after it.
"Let's go catch up to him!" Ashton said. He and Okotsu ran after Justin. Hoot hoot was running really trying to get away from Justin that it didn't notice the tree in front of it. Hoot hoot crashed into the tree and fell on it's back. "Hoot hoot, are you ok?" Justin asked. He ran to the hoot hoot and picked it up. He reached in his bag and pulled out a potion. He sprayed hoot hoot with it, healing it's injury.
Hoot hoot jumped up and looked at Justin. "I'm glad you're ok. So, do you wanna come along with me?" Justin asked. Hoot hoot sighed and nodded. It accepted since Justin did heal it. Justin nodded and tap Hoot hoot with a PokeBall. Hoot hoot was absorbed and the ball shook three times before glowing green. "I got my first Johto Pokemon!" Justin said, lifting the PokeBall into the air.
"Awesome! Hey, let's let hoot hoot meet Aipom!" Ashton said. "That's a great idea. Let's go Hoot hoot!" Justin said, calling Hoot hoot out of it's PokeBall. "hoot?" Hoot hoot said in confusion. "Hey hoot hoot. These are my friends, Ashton and Okotsu," Justin said. Hoot hoot hopped towards them and stared at them. "Hi hoot hoot, my name's Ashton. I'm your trainers friend," Ashton said with a smile while rubbing hoot hoot's head.
Hoot smiled and look at Okotsu. "Hi Hoot hoot, I'm Okotsu. If you ever need your feathers to be tended to, just come to me," Okotsu said. "Hey Hoot hoot, wanna meet somebody. It's also from this forest," Ashton said. He pulled out Aipom's PokeBall and called it out. Aipom came out and looked at Hoot hoot with confusion. "Aipom?" It said in confusion, pointing at Hoot hoot.
"Hey Aipom, that's Hoot hoot. Justin caught it. Say hi!" Ashton said. Aipom walked towards Hoot hoot and smiled. "Aipom!" It said happily. "Hoot hoot!" Hoot hoot responded. "Right well we should keep going. Return Aipom!" Ashton said, calling it back to it's Pokeball. Justin also called hoot hoot back to it's Pokeball and the three boys continued walked.
They continued walking when a Pokemon jumped out of the bushes and onto the path in front of the three boys. It was a brown Pokemon with long ears and a huge tail.

"A new Pokemon! Let's see what it is!" Ashton said. He pulled out his Pokedex and scanned the Pokemon.
"Sentret, the scout Pokemon. A very cautious Pokemon. It raises its self up Using it's tail to get a better view of it's surroundings," The Pokedex read.
"I'm gonna catch this one! You two got your first Johto Pokemon, do I'm gonna get my first one!" Okotsu said, grabbing a PokeBall. He snuck up on Sentret and threw a PokeBall before it could even notice. The ball hit Sentret, absorbing it and shaking three times. It stopped shaking and glowed green. "Yes! My first catch in the Johto Region!" Okotsu exclaimed. He called Sentret out of it's PokeBall.
"Sentret?" It said in confusion. "Hi Sentret! I'm Okotsu and I'm gonna be your trainer! Is that fine with you?" Okotsu asked. Sentret looked at Okotsu for a bit before smiling. "Awesome! Well then Sentret, welcome to my team! Return!" Okotsu said, calling it back to it's Pokeball.
"Hey guys, we're almost out of the forest!" Ashton exclaimed, pointing forward down the path. "Then let's keep going!" Justin said. The four boys walked down the path and eventually out of the forest. "Hey look, there's Cherrygrove City in the distance! Let's go!" Ashton exclaimed, running off. "Hey wait up!" Okotsu shouted as he and Justin ran after him. They ran for seven minutes before finally arriving at the city. "Nice, we made it! Our first city in the Johto Region!" Ashton said with a determined grin on his face.
