It was currently a little after morning and our heros were currently walking down the street, making their way to the Gym. There, they would get their eight and final Johto Gym Badge. They arrived at the Gym and walked inside. There was a woman with blue hair and a Dragon Tamer costume and cape.
She noticed the three boys and walked towards them. "Hello there! Are you three here to challenge my gym?" The woman asked. "Yep! The name's Ashton! This is my partner Pokemon, Blastoise!" Ashton said. "Hello. My name's Justin," Justin said. "And I'm Okotsu," Okotsu said.
"Nice to meet you three. My name is Clair and I'm the greatest Dragon Trainer of all time! My Dragons are so powerful, I'm able to hold my own against the Johto Elite Four! That means I won't go down so easily! Now, which one of you will be challenging me first?" Clair asked. "I'll go first this time," Justin said. He stepped forward and pulled out a PokeBall. "Very well. Let's begin our battle," Clair said.
Justin and Clair began their battle and Ashton decided to talk with Blastoise about their strategy. Okotsu noticed Ashton wasn't paying attention. "Hey Ash, aren't you gonna watch the battle? You'll see what Pokemon she'll use and you can make a strategy based on that," Okotsu suggested. "Nah. That seems too easy and if I want to become a Pokemon Master, I can't make everything too easy," Ashton said. Okotsu respected Ashton's decision and turned to continue watching Justin and Clair's match.
Eventually, Justin won the battle and won the badge. Okotsu stepped forward and they began their match. Justin also noticed Ashton not paying attention, but decided not to bother him about it. Okotsu also won his match and was given the badge. "Ok Ash, it's your turn!" Okotsu said. "Ok! Let's go Blastoise!" Ashton said. "Blastoise!" Blastoise said, ready for the Final Gym Battle of Johto.
They walked in front of Clair at the Battle Area. "During the match, I noticed you weren't watching the match. Wouldn't it have been better to watch my battle and make a plan to counter my Pokemon?" Clair asked. "That would be a great strategy, but I want to use my own ideas!" Ashton said. "I see. I like your style kid. That's why I won't hold anything back in our battle!" Clair said, grabbing a PokeBall off her belt. She threw it forward and sent out a Gyarados.
"A Gyrados, huh? Alright then! Let's do this! Go Electabuzz!" Ashton said, throwing his PokeBall forward. Electbuzz came out. "Electabuzz!" Electabuzz said. "Alright buddy, are you ready to win this?" Ashton asked. "Electa!" Electabuzz said determinedly. "Good! Then use Electro Ball on Gyarados!" Ashton said, starting the match. Electabuzz jumped into the air and made a ball of electricity in its hand. It threw the ball of electricity at Gyarados, shocking the Flying-Water Type.
"Gyarados, use Hyper Beam!" Clair said. Gyarados charged a beam of light in it's mouth and fired it at Electabuzz. Electabuzz couldn't dodge and was hit by the powerful attack. "Electabuzz, use Thunderbolt!" Ashton said. Electabuzz lifted it's hand and electricity covered it. It stuck it's hand forward, causing a bolt of electricity to shoot at Gyarados. Gyarados was hit by the attack.
